What an amazing place. Lovely atmosphere and good yoga. Danny is very friendly and provides excellent yoga sessions. Love her chanting. Mandy is such a down to earth person and her cooking is superb! What a day. If you are looking for something special and a day away from the ordinary, book a full day of yoga and sound and silence at the Kookaburra Yoga Retreat. You won't be disappointed!! Thank you all for a wonderful day.

I attended the Easter retreat in April 2026. I feel that this is the only yoga retreat I have attended where every element is considered. The food, elegant accommodation, natural environment, teachings and various practice of yoga were impeccable. Mandy has immense knowledge and a genuine desire for her students to get the best yoga experience. I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to attend the retreat and regular yoga classes at Kookaburra yoga.

The New Year retreat was extremely well planned and delivered. We talked about all the diverse aspects of yoga. The sound healing allowed for integration of the new knowledge. As always Mandy outperformed with the amazing vegan food in terms of variety and scrumptious.!

I'd absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants relief from both stress or muscle/tendon pain from daily working life. I've had chronic shoulder pain for about 6-7 years now thanks to constantly overstretching at work to do my job. I've never done yoga before going here. I've been going twice a week to Kookaburra Yoga for only 3 weeks now and using what I've learnt there to my own daily sessions at home. I wish I'd done this sooner as I've already found my shoulder pain disappearing, with only a few random flare ups. Not having that constant piercing pain is a huge weight lifted from me. The teachers there have all been incredibly welcoming and make every session feel special and comforting. The location in the bush just adds to the tranquility and whole experience. I'm very thankful to find this place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 🙏

Recharging, Nature, Peace and Tranquility were feelings we had during our experience staying at the Kookaburra railway carriage. The setting in the trees and creek down below, Guinea Fowls and peacocks roaming by, filtered sunlight through the trees with a refreshing wind blowing through the valley and a beautiful railway carriage to call our home. Our stay here was perfect and just what we needed to step back from the busyness of life, memories that won’t be forgotten.
