Free, volunteer-led local walking groups run under the Heart Foundation's national walking program, with groups meeting on regular weekly schedules across the Perth metro. Join online, pick a group near you, and walk — no cost, no equipment, all paces.

A long-running WA counselling organisation whose free SMART Recovery groups meet across the Perth metro, north-east metro and Wheatbelt. Sessions are peer-led and structured around practical skills — motivation, urges, weekly goals — and are open to the public with no bookings or fees.

A volunteer-run meditation centre teaching Raja Yoga meditation through free introductory courses, public talks and workshops, with an ongoing Thursday evening class for those who have completed the intro course. All courses, classes and retreats are offered free of charge.

A social walking group that has been going for more than ten years, with 60–90 minute walks most Saturday and Sunday mornings at rotating spots around Perth, usually finishing with coffee. All fitness levels welcome — it is as much about meeting people as covering ground.

A WA alcohol-and-other-drug support organisation running free recovery-focused groups across the metro — SMART Recovery meetings in Perth, Fremantle, Armadale, Thornlie and Rockingham, an online LGBTQIA+SB group, and SMART Family & Friends sessions for people supporting someone else. Most groups need no booking: just come along.

The Perth Central Service Office for AA in Western Australia, with meetings running every day of the week across the metro and country WA. Meetings are free, anonymous and open to anyone with a desire to stop drinking; the office is staffed weekdays 9am–4.30pm and the helpline answers around the clock.

Peer-run mutual support groups for mental wellbeing, meeting weekly for two hours followed by refreshments, with members keeping in touch between meetings. Groups run face to face around Perth and online as eGrow, and the free-call line connects you with the nearest group.

Lyndal runs a monthly women's circle on the last Saturday of the month, 7–9pm, at the Fremantle Yoga Centre space on Petra Street. Evenings move through grounding meditation with sound, yin yoga, a cacao ritual and guided sharing by candlelight, with themes following the seasons and moon phases.

A national non-profit that organises 'tables' of eight to twelve men who share a monthly dinner and honest conversation. New members start with an Entree — a one-off dinner that shows how a table works — with WA Entrees run around Perth, including South Perth.

A men's book club that meets at the Hyde Park Hotel at 7pm on the first Wednesday of every month, part of a network of pub-based chapters running since 2012. One book a month, no lectures, no phones — just men talking about the book and whatever the book opens up.
