My son took me here for my birthday last week, and wow what an incredible experience! The atmosphere at Amaroo is just...serene. Beautiful entry and vibrant lush greenery, very well presented and looked after, with a calm, relaxing dining environment which made my night so much better. From the moment i walked in, i was immediately greeted by the warmest smiles and the most genuine welcome, which made me feel so cherished and relaxed. The staff (Moses and Elle) seemed to anticipate our every need without being intrusive, even surprising me with a few very special birthday complementaries (which had definitely made me a little emotional). Even the chef had written Happy Birthday on my dessert plate, really adding the cherry on top to my birthday night, which i had wished would never end. The food was Divineeee. The garlic prawns had the right amount of garlic, my steak was cooked to perfection and my very special dessert, not only delicious, but even came with a birthday candle on top. All these little things had made the dining experience 10x better than i had imagined when i was first told, "mum, i'm taking you out for dinner." Even the bartender Elle had made me a special cocktail by my request of my favourite liquor. (Which i am hugely grateful for, as i know little acts like this take time, and thought, and cannot easily be done.) Such a wonderful night, I couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift. We had an amazing stay at Amaroo Retreat & Spa. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and approachable, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing—perfect for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy nature, and leave their worries behind. A special thank you to Lily, who was absolutely lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail made our experience even more enjoyable. It was a pleasure staying in the beautiful chalet. Everything was absolutely wonderful, from the accommodation to the service and the serene environment. The food was exceptional as well—every meal, from dinner to breakfast and even dessert, was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. We highly recommend Amaroo Retreat & Spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway, and we look forward to returning in the future.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On the 25th of May, my family and I had the pleasure of celebrating Jade’s 28th birthday at Amaroo Retreat for a lovely dinner. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the service truly made the evening memorable. A special thank you to Moses and Eve, who provided incredible service throughout the night. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made our celebration feel extra special. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a fantastic experience. Thank you to the whole team at Amaroo Retreat for helping create such wonderful memories with our family. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
Our kids bought us this precious gift of a stay at Amaroo. The rooms are extraordinary, the whole place stunning. We loved the massage - best ever, the space and dinner. We will be back.
My mum and I had a lovely time at Amaroo retreat and spa! Angie and Amber were gentle and efficient with our facials and massages and we felt refreshed and rejuvenated after. Would highly recommend the Amaroo experience to anyone wanting a pampering session. The ladies at reception Aly, Sarah and Nicola were warm, welcoming, friendly and professional. They made us feel right at home at the retreat when they served us our welcome drinks and carried our bags to our chalet. They even told us about the kangaroos and bunny rabbits in the vicinity which we were lucky to see! The manager Lily and waitstaff Melanie were very attentive and approachable and made sure we had everything we needed at our Melbourne Cup lunch and breakfast the next morning. They did a wonderful job organising the Melbourne Cup lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed and we will definitely come back for another fun and relaxing girls trip. Thanks to the Amaroo team for a wonderful experience and we look forward to seeing all the staff again soon!
