Terms

These terms cover using Oria Haven — as somebody looking for a practice, and as a practice listed on it. Using the site means accepting them. They are written plainly on purpose; if something here is unclear, ask us at hello@oriahaven.com.au rather than guessing.

What Oria Haven is

A directory of wellness practices in Perth. We list them, describe what they offer, and help people find them. We are not a booking agent, an employer, a franchisor or a professional association, and we have no involvement in what happens between you and a practice once you have found each other.

This is not health advice

Nothing on this site is medical, health or professional advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to use any particular treatment or practitioner for any particular condition. Our descriptions say what a practice offers, not what it will do for you.

If you have a health concern, speak with your GP or an appropriately registered practitioner. If it is urgent, call 000.

Some practices listed here are delivered by practitioners registered with AHPRA and some are not. Each listing says what it is. It is always reasonable to ask a practitioner about their training, registration and insurance before booking, and we would encourage it.

Accuracy

We check listings by hand and we take it seriously. We still cannot promise that every price, timetable, address or detail is current — businesses change things and do not always tell us. Confirm anything that matters directly with the practice before you rely on it.

Ratings and review counts shown as “on Google” come from Google and are reproduced as they appear there. We do not write, edit or curate them.

If you spot something wrong, tell us. Corrections are free and we do not require you to claim a listing to have an error fixed.

Introductions and enquiries

When you use the matching service or an enquiry form, we pass your details to the practices concerned so they can reply to you. What happens next is between you and them. We do not vet individual practitioners on your behalf, we do not guarantee that anybody will reply, and we are not party to any arrangement you make.

We never charge you for an introduction and we never take a commission on a booking.

If you run a listed practice

Listings we built. Many listings were compiled from information the business had already published. If yours is one of them and something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. If you would rather not be listed, tell us and we will take it down, usually the same day, at no cost and without asking why.

Claiming. Claiming a listing is free. We confirm you are connected to the business before handing it over. Once it is yours, you are responsible for keeping it accurate, and you confirm you have the right to publish what you put on it — including any photographs.

What you must not publish. No claim that a service treats, cures, prevents or manages any illness, condition or symptom. No before-and-after imagery implying a health outcome. No testimonials about therapeutic results. These are not house preferences — Australian law restricts advertising of that kind, and it applies to you as the advertiser. We remove listing content that crosses it, and we would rather tell you than remove it quietly.

Paid plans. Paid plans add features to a listing; they do not buy editorial treatment. Prices are shown before you subscribe. Plans are monthly and you can cancel at any time — the listing reverts to its free form and everything you have added is kept. We do not refund part-months, and we will tell you before any price change affects you.

What money does not buy. Being on a paid plan does not change where a listing ranks in search results on this site, whether it appears in the Wellness Finder, whether it is written about in the journal, or how it is described. Paid plans affect which features a listing has and where it is eligible to be featured, and those placements are labelled. Nobody can pay to be reviewed favourably, because we do not review practices at all.

Suspension. We can suspend or remove a listing that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe, or that publishes the kind of health claims described above. Where a paid plan is affected we will refund the unused part of the month.

Website services

Oria Digital, our website design service, is run by the same person as this directory. Buying a website changes nothing on the directory — not placement, not ranking, not whether a practice is featured, not how it is described. You never need to be listed here to hire us, and being listed does not get you a discount. Any website work is governed by its own written agreement, not by these terms.

Content and copyright

The writing, design and code of this site belong to us. Listing descriptions we have written belong to us. Material a practice uploads remains theirs, and by uploading it they give us permission to display it on the site and to use it in the ordinary promotion of the directory.

You are welcome to link to any page here. You may not copy the directory in bulk, scrape it, or republish substantial parts of it.

Other sites

We link out to practices, booking systems and other websites we do not control, and we are not responsible for what is on them. Some links to products are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy — this never changes what we choose to recommend, and pages carrying affiliate links say so.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here tries to.

Beyond those rights, the site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from information on the site being out of date or incorrect, from dealings with a practice you found here, or from the site being unavailable. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the service or the cost of doing so.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
