A waterfall on Beedelup Brook in Greater Beedelup National Park, reached by a 300-metre walk from the car park that crosses a suspension bridge, with an accessible lookout. The 4.5-kilometre loop through karri forest to Karri Valley Resort and the Walk-Through Tree is rated moderately hard. The falls run best in winter and early spring. Park entry is $17 a car, and dogs are not allowed.

A swimming hole on Lefroy Brook in Pemberton Forest Park, built in the late 1920s for timber workers' families and free to use, with public toilets and barbecues alongside and the mountain bike park next door. The floating saunas sit on the same water. The pool was closed for a time in March 2026 after trees were felled into it, so check access with the Pemberton Visitor Centre before a special trip.
A dam in the karri of Big Brook State Forest with a sandy beach for swimming, a sealed four-kilometre walk around the water that suits strollers and wheelchairs, and toilets, a shelter and picnic tables. Entry is free and the dam is stocked with trout. Dogs are allowed on a lead but not on the beach, and there is no camping at the dam itself — the Big Brook Arboretum campground is nearby.
A Belarusian banya on Browns Road, Pemberton, run the traditional way: steam, veniki — bundles of leafy branches worked over the skin — a cold plunge and Ivan tea. Social sessions run on set dates, at sunset or paired with lunch or dinner from the Belarusian kitchen on site, from $70 an adult. Private banya runs any day by appointment. Booking is essential, and deposits are not refunded.
The spa at Serenity House on Dean Street, Pemberton, offering massage, botanical facials, hand and foot rituals and reiki in 60 and 90-minute sessions from $130. Longer spa rituals run two to three hours, there is a three-hour couples retreat at $525, and the forest day retreats are priced per person for groups of three to six — $325 to $395 each.
Adults-only accommodation in forest about ten minutes from Pemberton, built around private spa time rather than treatments: four units, each with its own jacuzzi or outdoor spa bath, and three with a sauna. The Spa Cottage is a converted vintage rail carriage, and two of the suites look across to Warren National Park. Rates start from $330. Phone reception is limited and some units have no wifi.
Two wood-fired saunas built from Finnish cedar, floating on Pemberton Pool in the karri forest, each with a floor-to-ceiling window over the water — and the cold plunge is the pool itself. Shared one-hour sessions take up to six people, private hire is available, and sessions run 7am to 9pm daily. The site is off-grid with no toilets, so bring towels, water and a change of clothes.
An Ayurvedic day spa on seven acres of bushland between Dunsborough and Yallingup, with a 25-metre pool, a steam room and private yoga. The Ayurvedic side is the point — this is not a generic treatment menu with an Indian name on it.
Infrared sauna and ice bath on Dunsborough Lakes Drive, booked by the session. Straightforward heat and cold with none of the day-spa framing, which is the appeal.
A day spa and boutique retreat on Caves Road, set across bushland, vineyard and farmland between Yallingup and Dunsborough. You can book the spa on its own or stay, which is what most people down for a weekend end up doing.

What is listed in the Margaret River region
Seventeen places, across nine towns between Busselton and the Margaret River rivermouth. The region went up here because people drive down from Perth for a weekend and want to know what is open when they arrive. It has roughly doubled since, and is still a long way from a complete picture of what the south west holds.
Heat and cold came first and still weigh the most. Two of the saunas are mobile: one wood-fired and moving around the region, the other parked at the Rivermouth carpark at Prevelly, where the cold half of the contrast is the Indian Ocean rather than a tub you climb into. Neither keeps fixed hours. Both post a schedule instead, so the sensible order is to check where they are before you plan the drive.
The day spas are the other half of that. BODHI at Yallingup and Yala at Naturaliste are built around a half day rather than an hour, and MEND is on Bussell Highway in Margaret River itself, which makes it the one you can walk to from town.
What has been added since is the ordinary weekly kind. Five yoga studios now, from a beachside room at Gnarabup to Ashtanga in town and Kundalini out at Yallingup, and one teacher who drives to houses around Dunsborough and Eagle Bay rather than keeping a room at all. Massage, osteopathy, physiotherapy and a naturopath fill in the rest — the things you book when you live here rather than when you are down for three days.
Not one of the seventeen publishes a price. That is the gap. Several list figures on their own sites without saying plainly what the number buys, so the field is empty rather than guessed. None have been claimed by their owners yet either, which means every word here came from the business's own website.

Common questions
How many wellness practices are listed in the Margaret River region?
Oria Haven lists 34 practices in the Margaret River region across 19 categories, from meditation and yoga to remedial massage, breathwork, sound and float, allied health and outdoor wellness. Every one is checked by hand before it goes up, and the number keeps moving as we work through the region.
Which parts of the Margaret River region does Oria Haven cover?
Listings are grouped into 3 areas: Dunsborough & the Capes, Margaret River & South and Pemberton. Each has its own page, and so does every suburb we list a practice in.
Is it free for a practice to be listed?
Yes. Listing costs nothing and claiming a listing costs nothing — an owner can take over their profile and keep it accurate for free: services, opening hours, prices, amenities, parking, contact details and up to four photos. Paid plans add a booking link, more photos, offers, a timetable and visitor stats, and no plan changes where a practice appears or how it is described.
How are listings verified?
Most were built from what a practice already publishes about itself, then checked by hand. A listing stays marked Unclaimed until somebody from the business confirms it is theirs. We correct anything that is wrong whether or not a listing has been claimed, and we take listings down on request.
Do you charge a booking fee?
No. Enquiries go straight to the practice and they reply to you directly. Ordinary directory enquiries and direct links to practices remain commission-free, and we never charge you for an introduction. Some separately labelled retreat recommendations use affiliate links, which may earn Oria Haven a commission from the booking provider.
