Reformer Pilates prices in Perth: what 25 studios actually charge

A casual reformer class in Perth costs $38 at the median, but hardly anyone pays that for long. What 25 studios publish for casual classes, intro offers, packs and weekly memberships — checked on their own websites in September 2026.

The number on a studio's pricing page is rarely the one you end up paying for long.

On reading a reformer price list

This page won’t tell you which reformer studio in Perth is the best value, because the number on a studio’s pricing page is rarely the one you end up paying for long, once the intro deals, packs and memberships are counted. What it can tell you is what 25 studios actually publish — checked on their own websites on 19 September 2026 — and which of those numbers matter. The short version is this. A casual reformer class costs $38 at the median, and most studios sit between $34 and $39. Packs bring it down to about $30 a class, and a weekly membership goes lower again — sometimes a long way lower, if you can live with the lock-in.

Every figure below comes from the studio’s own site or the booking page it links to — not ClassPass, not deal sites, and not anything a studio hasn’t put its name to. Prices move. Treat this as a snapshot — and confirm the current rate with the studio before you pay.

A casual class runs from $26 to $70, and most land within five dollars of $37

Seventeen of the 25 studios publish a single-class reformer price. The cheapest is The Pilates Warehouse in Joondalup at $26 and the dearest is a physiotherapist-run clinical class in the CBD at $70 — take out the four physio-led clinics and the range tightens to $26–$45, with a median of $37. That clustering is not a coincidence. A studio charging $52 for the same 45 minutes as the one down the road at $37 needs a reason, and most don’t have one they’d care to print.

Check the length before you compare. Reformer classes in Perth commonly run 45 or 50 minutes rather than an hour, and studios aren’t always loud about it. Two classes at the same price can differ by a quarter of an hour — which, across a ten-pack, adds up to two and a half hours of lying on a bed that moves.

Eight studios publish no casual price at all. Several of them sell only memberships and intro passes, which says something specific about who they expect to walk through the door: people who plan to keep coming, not people who’d like to try it once on a Saturday.

Physio-led clinics charge more, and the first appointment isn’t a class

Four of the studios on this page are run by physiotherapists, and their casual classes sit at $38, $39, $46 and $70. The class is only part of it. Clinical Pilates usually starts with a one-to-one assessment before you’re allowed near a group session. Performance Pilates & Physiotherapy in Mount Hawthorn lists that initial consultation at $130 and Niche Physio & Pilates lists $110–$120, while the others don’t publish the fee at all — ask for it by name.

Where a physiotherapist delivers the session, private health extras sometimes rebate part of it. Whether yours does depends on your fund, your level of cover and the practitioner’s registration — ask all three before you count on it. The difference between clinical and studio reformer is mostly the order of events: an appointment that happens to involve a machine, against a class you pick off a timetable.

The intro offer is priced for a fortnight of good intentions

Sixteen studios publish a new-client offer, and it comes in two shapes — a block of unlimited classes for two to four weeks, or a fixed number of classes, usually four or five, with an expiry date. The median is $69. The most common single figure is $59, and the range runs from $55 up to $190 for four weeks of unlimited classes at Heartbeat High in Shenton Park.

An unlimited fortnight is only cheap if you use it. Studios know roughly how many classes the average newcomer fits into fourteen days, and they set the price with that number in mind rather than the one you’re imagining on day one, somewhere between the car park and the front desk. Book the first four sessions the moment you buy the pass. Then do the sums: divide what you paid by the classes you went to, and compare that with a pack.

One offer is not like the others. MPG Pilates in Mandurah starts new clients with four private sessions for $380, which isn’t a discount pass — it’s a way in for people who want an instructor to themselves before they join a class.

Packs and memberships are where the per-class price actually falls

Ten studios sell a 10-class reformer pack, and it works out at $24 to $33 a class, with a median of $30.50. Bigger packs go lower. Studio Fortè in Malaga sells 100 classes for $2,600, or $26 each. Check the expiry before buying. The Pilates Warehouse gives you three months to use a 10-pack, and a pack that runs out half-used costs more per class than walking in casually would have.

Weekly memberships are the hardest figures to compare, because every studio slices them differently — one class a week, two, three, unlimited. The cheapest is Redefined Studio in Leederville at $9.95 a week for one class, The Pilates Warehouse is next at $18, and most one-class memberships sit around $30. Read the fine print. Several of the cheapest one-class plans carry a 12-week or three-month minimum, and one two-class plan needs six months, while others let you cancel with a week’s notice. A low weekly figure with a long lock-in is a different purchase from the same figure with none.

Every studio and every published price, side by side

Casual is a single group reformer class. The pack column shows the pack size with the lowest price per class, and weekly shows the cheapest membership and what it includes. A dash means the studio doesn’t publish that price, not that it doesn’t offer it.

How this was checked, and what it showed about our own listings

Oria Haven lists 27 studios in Perth that run reformer classes. On 19 September 2026 each one’s own pricing page was opened, or the booking page its site links to. Only the reformer figures stated there were recorded, with a note wherever a price also covers mat, barre or yoga. We didn’t average anything or fill in a gap. A price behind an app login or an “enquire now” button counts as unpublished.

Two studios publish no reformer price that could be used. Perth Physiotherapy and Pilates in Innaloo takes bookings by phone, and Subiaco Sports Massage & Physio prices a small-group Pilates class without saying whether it’s on the reformer, so it’s left out rather than guessed at.

The check also showed our own listings had drifted. One described a studio’s two-class Pilates membership as a recovery-session plan, and seven studios had published prices that had never been recorded here at all. So much for the directory being the tidy one. This page will be checked again, not left to age quietly.

Heartbeat High’s private session is quoted excluding GST, and sign-up fees, cancellation fees and peak-hour pricing weren’t published consistently enough to compare, so ask about those directly. If you run one of these studios and a figure is out of date, claim your listing and correct it — it’s quicker than an email.

Where to start this week

New to the machine? Start with what a reformer class actually involves, then pick an intro offer near you and book the first sessions straight away. The reformer Pilates studios across Perth are all on one page, and if you’re choosing between the machine and the floor, reformer against mat sets out what each hour is like.
