Such a welcoming and supportive Pilates studio. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging and give really clear guidance, making classes accessible for all levels while still providing a great workout. The atmosphere is warm and inclusive, and there’s a genuine focus on helping everyone feel comfortable and confident. I always leave feeling stronger, calmer and glad I came.

Amazing studio. I've tried about 7 different reformer studios now over the past 4 months going most days, and have had the opportunity to experience a wide range of instructors and styles across studios. Hands down to SLC, this studio is by FAR in my top 2 studios in the south perth/como/kensington area, alongside Pilates on Angelo. All the instructors are so knowledgable, friendly, take the time to correct your posture, etc. They are also clear with instructions, cueing, and adapt to offer multiple modifications and more advanced challenging progressions within their classes. Some studios I've been too seem a bit less organised, a bit chaotic when changing springs or bringing in new props, but SLC has been fab. SLC is also a super inclusive space with classes that cater for people of all ages and abilities. The biggest thing for me if I'm spending this much on reformer, is the instructor. I love a good instructor that seamlessly coordinates the tone, intensity, and vibe of the class with the music, a good reformer flow, and doesn't just add on props for the sake of it. Some studios have music that is too loud/soft, or they increase and decrease the music throughout the class, or it's just doof doof/club music (e.g., Kesha's Tik Tok)... just not the vibe of reformer. I do love a hard, challenging class, but I think you can do that without having doof doof music. You can tell with most instructors at SLC that all movements and progressions flow and make sense. Also love that at the end of class they end with a little mindfulness practice and cute touch with the self-love club cards to start or end your day/practice. I've got a few more trials upcoming as trying to figure out what the best studio is for what i like in terms of pricing, location, class schedule timings, etc. however I would say this is a top contender currently and definitely considering coming back at the end of my upcoming trials. Well done SLC for creating such an inclusive environment for newcomers!

First Pilates session. Class was well-organised, instructor Amelia set a good pace. Studio was comfortable, well set out and (thankfully) warm. No nonsense, just a steady, manageable workout. Not too sure about being called 'cherub' in the follow-up email, but I think I'll get over it. Booking for another one this week.
