Over the last few years I have experienced the ups and downs of chronic back pain, mixed in with a few other niggles here and there, and now post-surgery, but through all of it Michelle and her team have supported me and my abilities on any given day. I can honestly say I would not be as physically (and mentally) capable to tackle life as I am now if not for my weekly Pilates classes. Love you all, keep up the great work xx

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Breathwork as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.
Why our editors picked it
Run this practice? Download the seal for your website“Sound baths and breathwork sit on the timetable alongside reformer and restorative classes in Mahogany Creek and Kalamunda, and the Mahogany Creek studio adds a sauna and cold plunge for afterwards. The hills' option for a sound session without the drive to the coast.”
Best Of guides are an editorial selection. A practice cannot pay to be in one.

IllustrationA short, firm foam roller in moulded polypropylene. Small enough to keep beside the mat or take to class.
Everyday useGoes well with Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
A roller does not need to be clever. It needs to be firm enough to hold its shape and short enough that you actually use it. This is the plain, inexpensive one, and the 30cm length is the right size for calves, thighs and the upper back without taking over the room.

A two-inch textured rubber ball from TriggerPoint, sized to work underfoot.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork · Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
Two inches is the size that fits the arch of a foot, which is what separates it from a plain lacrosse ball. The texture grips the floor instead of skidding away. The cheapest way into self-massage tools and the one most likely to get used.

A yoga mat printed with alignment lines for placing hands and feet.
Goes well with Yoga
Why we picked it
The lines are the whole point. They give you something to check against when you cannot see your own posture and there is no teacher watching, which makes this a mat for practising alone at home rather than in a studio.
