Eight luxury chalets tucked into Perth Hills bushland at Mount Helena, each with a private spa on its deck. Mandy Francisty runs day retreats around Perth and weekend retreats further afield — the next in Pemberton — built from slow-flow and restorative yoga, yoga nidra, meditation, breathwork, journaling and a vegan, gluten-free lunch, each day on a different theme. Based in Two Rocks, where there is venue hire, a sauna and ice bath and weekly yoga, she is a yoga and pilates teacher, breathwork practitioner, NLP and EFT therapist and personal trainer, and takes private bookings for hens, birthdays and teams.
An NDIS-registered outdoor practice running counselling, animal-assisted sessions, art and music therapy, exercise physiology and community-access programs in natural settings around Perth. Programs are built around each participant's own plan and goals rather than a fixed class timetable, and include therapeutic respite and retreat options.
A long-standing Wembley day spa built around multi-hour 'spa journey' packages — massage, facials, body therapies and healing treatments using organic Sodashi and Li'tya products, with sauna and light-therapy rooms on site. A team of around forty therapists runs six days a week, with late Thursday evenings. Pregnancy-safe rituals and men's treatments sit alongside the classic day-escape packages.
Structured retreat packages in the Swan Valley, from single-day resets built around yoga, meditation and spa treatments through to multi-day residential programs. Day formats start at $395, the one-day yoga and meditation retreat runs at $525 with group rates, and longer packages extend to five days. Retreats run Monday to Friday, booked online.
An adults-only retreat set in its own jarrah forest in the Perth Hills, about half an hour from the city. Self-contained lodges each have a kitchen, log fire and outdoor heated jacuzzi, and the on-site day spa — massage, facials, rituals and wraps, pregnancy pampering — takes casual day visitors as well as lodge guests, Monday to Saturday. In-lodge dining, platters and picnic hampers round out a stay.
A seven-bedroom retreat house for up to twenty guests on five and a half acres of orchard near the Moore River estuary, fifty minutes north of the city. Groups take the whole property — two lounges, meditation spaces, a games room, fireplace — with an eight-metre air-conditioned yurt for yoga, meditation, breathwork and sound. Facilitators hire it for weekend retreats and the house hosts its own calendar of events; the downstairs layout is step-free.
Julie Baker and Emma McLarty run small-group wellness journeys from Perth, with their signature Rejuvenation Retreat held on an 1,800-acre property in the Chittering Valley surrounded by state forest above the Avon River. The long-weekend format pairs private cabins and all meals with guided bush walks and unhurried days built around rest. The pair also lead international journeys — Kerala, Bhutan, Japan among them — and arrange private group retreats.
A small, purpose-built adults-only retreat on a secluded hilltop outside Mundaring, surrounded by state forest and national park, running residential programs since 2013. Themed retreats span day visits through to multi-day stays — yoga, forest walks, mindfulness and spa-focused formats — with a swim pond, gym, infrared sauna, mineral baths and a library on the property. Airport pick-up is complimentary for retreat guests.
A rammed-earth retreat house in the timber town of Dwellingup, purpose-built in 2012 for small groups of up to eighteen: eight ensuite bedrooms, a large common room and kitchen, and the Bibbulmun Track at the boundary, under a kilometre from town. Yoga studios, art teachers and craft groups book the whole house for weekend retreats — myoga's Iyengar weekends and Art Outdoors' painting retreats among them — and self-cater or bring in local caterers.
The Centre for Attitudinal Healing's bush retreat an hour south-east of Perth, used by community groups, families and teams. Accommodation runs from a cottage to shared quarters for 23 or 46, with a hall for meetings and meditation, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor meeting grove, a winter bonfire area and walking trails through the property. Published rates: cottage $500 a night, the 23-bed wing $1,600, the 46-bed wing $3,000, and hall hire $500 a day Monday to Thursday.
Fremantle's Spanda School runs structured silent retreats built on non-dual meditation, gentle movement and rest — one-day sittings at the school itself, and three- and seven-day residentials at Donnelly Lakes near Pemberton. Two formats serve different depths of practice: a guided version for those newer to silence, and longer unguided sits for experienced meditators. Around a hundred students come through each year, some from interstate and overseas.
A day spa and small overnight retreat in the Swan Valley with an unusually broad wellness menu: massage, facials, clay treatments, hydrotherapy and floatation therapy, plus The Oasis — sauna, ice bath and spa sessions. Day visitors are explicitly welcome, six days a week, with Oasis and float sessions running Sundays too. Three luxury rooms serve those who stay over.
A Perth women's community running retreats since 2012, best known for the Wild Woman Weekend — four days and three nights of ceremony, dance, workshops and singing in bushland at the foot of the Darling Scarp in Serpentine. Facilitators Tracy McFie and Larissa O'Neill have held the weekend for thirteen years. Fully catered with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options; $1,666 all-inclusive, alongside mentoring and smaller gatherings through the year.
A day spa in the gardens of a Gooseberry Hill property that began life in the early 1900s as Kalamunda's first girls' high school. Five treatment rooms, three of them for couples, with massage, facials and Omnilux light therapy, hands and feet, eye, head and scalp treatments, crystal body treatments, prenatal treatments, waxing and tinting, and day packages built from them. Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5.30pm.
Frieda runs yin and vinyasa classes in Claremont and Cottesloe and takes the practice into the bush: yoga hikes — 'yikes' — such as a four-kilometre walk at Bells Rapids followed by a slow-flow class and afternoon tea, and a hike to the Golden View lookout above Mundaring Weir, forty-five minutes east of the city. Longer retreats run in Balingup and overseas. Private one-to-one classes and corporate yoga and pilates round out the calendar.
A retreat centre on ten acres of bushland in the Perth hills, with a seasonal creek, native forest and an octagonal yoga shala. Alongside weekly classes it runs a monthly one-day silent retreat, longer weekend retreats through the year, self-guided personal retreat stays and long-form teacher training. Retreat days fold in bush walks on the property.
A dedicated sound space on five acres of jarrah bush beside a nature reserve in Sawyers Valley, on the same property as Sawyers Valley Retreat. The public calendar runs sound sessions on the new and full moons, solstice gatherings, yoga, mantra and chant, storytelling evenings and slow-stitching workshops, and the temple takes private group bookings and retreats. Published event prices sit between $111 and $180.
Holly Dutton teaches yoga at City Beach and runs residential retreats in WA's south-west — most recently a four-day Margaret River weekend combining daily yoga, sauna and ice bath sessions, breathwork, meditation, bush walks and a cacao ceremony, fully catered. Shared and single rooms from $1,495. Private retreats for groups of six or more can be arranged at Rottnest, Yallingup, Ferguson Valley and the Swan Valley.
How Oria chooses these retreats, nature & experiences places
19 of the 46 retreats, nature & experiences listings in the directory match this view. The count is live, and the order puts specialists first — paid placement never moves anyone up it.
As of October 2026, 19 of the 46 Retreats, Nature & Experiences listings on Oria Haven are in this view (Perth) — counted live from the directory.
6 places here publish a starting price, from $25 to $1,666. The median is $445.
14 of these specialise in retreats, nature & experiences — it is their main focus. The other 5 list it among other things they offer.
Every listing is hand-checked by Oria Haven. Figures updated 8 October 2026.
Most relevant means practices that specialise in this first, then the ones with the most reviews to go on. A listing that publishes its price, describes itself and names its services gets a small nudge, never more than a quarter of a star, because you can decide on it without ringing. Paid placements are shown once, in their own band, and never move anyone up the list.

The guide
Before you go: Wellness retreats in Perth
Retreats near Perth divide by how long you stay and how much of the day somebody else decides. Day retreats run a single day — usually a Saturday — and combine a couple of sessions with a meal, which makes them the low-commitment end and the place to start. Residential retreats run a weekend or longer at properties in the Perth Hills, out past Serpentine, up the Swan Valley and down the coast, with meals and a set timetable included.
Silent retreats are their own proposition: several days without conversation, phones handed in or left off, long stretches of sitting, and an end-of-retreat evening where everyone talks at once. Some meditation centres also run free introductory days and talks, which are the cheapest way to find out whether the longer kind is for you before you book a week of it.
Popular weekends book months ahead, so a same-day booking is optimistic. Almost everything here is a driving trip, and the properties are rarely walkable to anything else. Check what is included before comparing prices — accommodation, meals and sessions are bundled differently by nearly every venue, and a single-room supplement is common.

About the Reel
The Reel, from Australia’s South West, introduces the floating sauna at Pemberton Pool: two wood-fired sauna rooms on the water with big windows onto the karri forest, and the ritual its caption describes — warm up, step outside into the pool, and repeat.

How does Oria Haven choose which practices to list?
We build the directory ourselves rather than taking paid submissions, so a practice appears because it exists and serves Perth — not because it paid. Practices can claim their listing for nothing and keep it accurate, photos included. Paid plans add booking links, offers and visitor stats. We never take a cut of bookings, and enquiries go straight to the practice.
