A day spa is bought for an occasion more often than for a treatment, so the thing that matters is rarely the menu — it is whether there is a couples room, whether you can sit in a sauna afterwards, how long you get to stay, how far you have to drive, and what the afternoon will actually cost. An unusually broad menu for a day spa: massage, facials and clay treatments alongside hydrotherapy, floatation, and an Oasis of cedar sauna, ice bath and jetted hot tub, booked for up to four from $165 an hour for two. A 900-square-metre spa and clinic on Gilbertson Road, open since 1997 and one of the few in Perth to publish its whole price list. Ten treatment rooms sit alongside an infrared sauna, a hydrotherapy spa, Vichy showers and a private alfresco spa used in the couples packages. There is a secure car park with disabled bays, and Thursdays run to 9pm.

On Railway Terrace at Rockingham Beach and open since 2007, with massage, facials, skin needling, Dermalux LED, body wraps and an infrared sauna ($35 for half an hour), grouped into packages for one or two. It says plainly that it does not do deep tissue or remedial massage. Lift access for wheelchairs, and gift vouchers sold online or in store. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

We looked at what is physically on site rather than at the treatment list, because that is what separates one spa afternoon from another: couples rooms, sauna or steam, a pool or hot tub, how many days a week it opens, parking, and whether packages and gift vouchers are sold. Every price was checked on the spa's own website or menu in October 2026 and is named only where the spa publishes it; spas change prices, and some add a weekend surcharge.

Packages of about two hours start at $230 at Soothe, $299 at Ganesha and $390 at Annasha, and a full day runs from $795 at Swan Valley Retreat to $1,282 at Solace. Only Crown includes one with the treatment: its Aqua Retreat of vitality pool, sauna and steam comes with anything an hour or longer. Elsewhere it is extra. Solace in Scarborough runs its bathhouse at $69 an hour, Swan Valley Retreat books its Oasis of sauna, ice bath and hot tub from $165 an hour for two, Soothe charges $70 for half an hour in its infrared sauna for two, and Urban Retreat charges $35.
Annasha in Gooseberry Hill has three, though it does not publish a couples price. Those that do: Swan Valley Retreat charges $340 for an hour's couples massage, Urban Retreat in Rockingham starts at $359 for two, Ganesha's two-hour Revive the Romance is $369, and Solace in Scarborough puts couples in an adjoining room with its own steam room. Le Beau in Kardinya adds a private alfresco spa to its couples packages.
A day spa is built around treatments booked as an occasion, with the facilities — sauna, steam, a pool — as part of the visit. A wellness centre is usually built around practitioners you see repeatedly for a reason. Some Perth venues genuinely do both, and this guide notes where that is the case.

Check the terms before buying — in Australia most gift cards must be valid for at least three years, and it is worth knowing whether a voucher buys a named package or a dollar amount.
