    Osborne Park · Spa & Recovery 4.9Google

A Finnish sauna, steam room, hot mineral bath and ice bath, taken as a circuit on a single day pass. Open seven days, from 6am on Thursdays and Fridays and until 8pm most nights, with massage and treatments bookable alongside. All-gender, 18-plus, swimwear required.

  2. Oria Best ofBest for recovery

    Reclab

    Wembley · Spa & Recovery 5.0Google

Built for hot-and-cold rather than heat alone: a Finnish sauna and steam room next to cold plunge pools and a magnesium hot plunge, so a contrast circuit is the default here. Casual dips are available as well as memberships, and red light and compression boots are on the menu for afterwards.

  3. Oria Best ofBest value

    Melt Sauna & Cold Plunge

    Subiaco · Spa & Recovery 4.9Google

Sauna and cold plunge in thirty- or sixty-minute blocks, $25 and $35, with availability capped so the room stays quiet. The 5am, 6am and 7am sessions are $7, $14 and $21, which makes it the cheapest sauna on this list if you can get there before work. Showers, change rooms and a drink afterwards.

    • 30 min $25 or 60 min $35

  4. Oria Best ofBest sauna day out

    Swan Valley Retreat

Henley Brook · Retreats, Nature & Experiences 5.0Google

The Oasis — sauna, ice bath and spa sessions — sits inside a day spa with floatation, hydrotherapy, massage and facials, so a sauna can be one part of a longer afternoon. Day visitors are welcome six days a week, with Oasis and float sessions running Sundays too.

  5. Oria Best ofBest infrared sauna

    Bodyscape Yoga & Wellness Spa

    Nedlands · Yoga 5.0Google

A 45-minute infrared session at $50, in a Nedlands spa where it can be paired with massage or a facial in the same visit. Infrared runs at a lower air temperature than a traditional sauna, which suits people who find a Finnish room too much.

How we chose

What we considered

We considered the type of sauna, whether sessions are private or shared, session length, whether an ice bath or cold plunge is available, showers and towels, price, and how clearly the venue publishes its hours and booking.

Best Of guides are editorial. No practice paid to appear here; paid placements on Oria Haven are always labelled Featured.

Common questions

Before you go

A traditional sauna heats the air, usually to 70–90°C. An infrared sauna heats you directly at a lower air temperature, around 45–60°C, so it feels gentler for the same session length.

Most Perth venues book sessions of 30 to 60 minutes. Contrast sessions alternate a few minutes of cold with time in the heat.

Nearly always, and private rooms especially. Each listing links to the venue’s own booking page.

Trend to Try

WA’s first floating sauna, on Pemberton Pool

Reel by Australia’s South West @australias_southwest · South West, Western Australia

Reel by Australia’s South West, the regional tourism account, posted 12 August 2026 with @floatingsauna_pembertonpool.

It captures the setting and the whole hot–cold ritual — including the dive that deserves a word of caution.
