Dwellingup WA 6213 · Rockingham & Peel
About
A rammed-earth retreat house in the timber town of Dwellingup, purpose-built in 2012 for small groups of up to eighteen: eight ensuite bedrooms, a large common room and kitchen, and the Bibbulmun Track at the boundary, under a kilometre from town. Yoga studios, art teachers and craft groups book the whole house for weekend retreats — myoga's Iyengar weekends and Art Outdoors' painting retreats among them — and self-cater or bring in local caterers.

Read all on GoogleThis accomodation is fantastic for large groups, especially craft/sewing groups. The rooms all have single beds and ensuites and there is one large space complete with tables and desk chairs plus access to a cutting mat, irons and ironing boards. There’s a lounge and tv set up and a great kitchen with all the amenities. The building is stunning rammed earth which helps keep the space cool. Our group loved the large outdoor seating area with the vines hanging down and arranged to have catering from someone local to the area. This property is situated behind a cider house and the orchard in between that and the accommodation encourages kangaroos and emus. Our quilt guild loves coming here. The owner of the property is a fantastic host thanks for the great retreats 🥰
Fantastic This weekend was our 12th visit! Been going annually since it was built, thank you nick! Lyn robins (carol smith group)
UNBELIEVABLE. A wonderful venue. I have never been on a retreat before and one can't help feeling, I am now spoilt for other venues down the track. Hygiene was impeccable Facilities themselves were brand new and more than adequate which included a lovely room, fresh linen. The sewing/function room with attatched, and up to date advanced kitchen, wood fire and woodbox fully stocked. Amazing lighting and multiple power points. Beautiful scenery with nearby wildlife. Plus all the little extras one needs for a sewing weekend. Nice walk to town with bush walks near by. I was invited by a friend when a vacancy came up, I don't know the owners, but they have certainly done an outstanding job. A very unique place. Thankyou very much to all involved. Maryanne Robinson
Excellent accomodation for groups. Large dining/ activity room for small groups. Well set-up kitchen with all mods & cons, incl. Dishwasher. Accomodation is mainly 2 bed but there are a couple of 3 bed rooms, all with own E/S. Large grassed area @ the front & ample parking at the rear. Very quiet location, short walk to township of Dwellingup. Mobile phone reception varies between front & rear of property, but not a real problem when you consider the entire location. Been there twice now with a mosaic group & am looking forward to returning in 2019.
Fifth year here and such an enjoyable experience for our patchwork group. Comfortable well appointed accommodation and a large open room and kitchen.
