Boxing runs at three levels, from all-levels drills and bag or pad rounds to partner work and an invite-only fight team, plus junior boxing for ages 10 to 14. The arts therapist is registered with ANZACATA and also registered with PACFA as a psychodynamic psychotherapist.

Adults learn waltz, cha-cha, slow rhythm and other social dances in an eight-week Wednesday evening course from 7pm, followed by a social dance until 9.30pm, for $120. People can come solo or with a partner. Kids classes run Saturday mornings at $15 a week, and private lessons, competition coaching and wedding dance packages are also offered.
The Buddhist Society of WA's city centre, fifteen minutes north of the CBD, running free guided meditation several times a week alongside Friday dhamma talks and WA's largest Buddhist library. The four-week introduction course starts on the first Saturday of each month, and newcomers are expected rather than merely tolerated.
More than thirty years of foot care on Brighton Road: orthotic therapy, sports podiatry, gait analysis, plantar fasciitis and heel pain management, fungal nail and ingrown toenail treatment, serving the coastal strip from City Beach to Karrinyup.
An all-organic wholefoods store and takeaway café in Doubleview, with certified organic fruit and veg, pantry and fridge lines, household and personal care, and seasonal fruit and veg boxes for delivery or same-day pickup.
A West Australian-owned organic shop and plant-based café in Joondalup, stocking certified organic fruit and veg, daily sourdough, a bulk section, fridge and freezer lines, eco household goods and natural skincare. Qualified nutritionists consult from the store's own clinic.
A communal bathhouse on Donovan Street, Osborne Park: a Finnish sauna, steam room, hot mineral bath and ice bath taken as a circuit on a day pass, with a treatment menu of massage, facials, body treatments and pregnancy massage alongside. All-gender and 18-plus, swimwear required; open seven days, from 6am on Thursdays and Fridays and until 8pm most nights. Packages, memberships and gift cards are sold on the site.
The Joondalup room of the national endota chain, inside Lakeside shopping centre. The menu is the full spa spread: relaxation, remedial, hot stone and pregnancy massage, organic and clinical facials including LED, microdermabrasion and peels, plus body wraps and scrubs and the usual beauty services. Packages run from half an hour to three hours. A separate endota operates at Joondalup Resort, so check which one a booking is for.
A multidisciplinary clinic in Kallaroo where Rachel Davies Burrows runs the kinesiology room alongside chiropractic, massage, naturopathy and reiki under the one roof. Kinesiology and breathwork sit side by side on the menu, patients thirteen and up, booked through Cliniko.
Flying High Aerial Arts Studios is a pole dance and flexibility studio on Westchester Road, Malaga, that has been teaching in Perth for more than ten years. Small classes run from beginner pole, covering spins, poses and climbs, through intermediate and advanced levels, alongside flexibility and conditioning sessions. No experience is needed and new students start each week. Class times vary with the timetable, and new students can take two weeks of unlimited classes for $88.
Gloria Cicchini practises naturopathy from Hillarys with a heavy emphasis on testing — hair mineral analysis, DUTCH hormone panels, microbiome and genetic testing — feeding long-form 60–90 minute consultations. Booking runs through her online clinic diary.
A small day spa on Central Walk in the Joondalup centre, named Best Spa in Joondalup for 2025. Massage works on trigger points, facials and body treatments use Germaine de Capuccini skincare, and the menu is arranged into day-spa packages for men and women — a 90-minute package is advertised at $120. Open seven days except Wednesday, with later hours on the weekend.
A seven-bedroom retreat house for up to twenty guests on five and a half acres of orchard near the Moore River estuary, fifty minutes north of the city. Groups take the whole property — two lounges, meditation spaces, a games room, fireplace — with an eight-metre air-conditioned yurt for yoga, meditation, breathwork and sound. Facilitators hire it for weekend retreats and the house hosts its own calendar of events; the downstairs layout is step-free.
Cold-pressed juice and plant-based meals made to order in Osborne Park and delivered rather than sold over a counter. Cleanses run from one day to five.
A head spa in Landsdale with three rituals, from $130 for 45 minutes to $230 for 90, each beginning with an HD scalp analysis and ending with half an hour to dry off; the middle option, at $180, adds a facial. Treatments use a massaging spa bed and a scalp steamer. It is not suitable during pregnancy or with hair extensions or braids, and a professional blow-dry costs extra.
A Balcatta studio running a six-day timetable across jazz, tap, classical ballet, lyrical and contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics and musical theatre. The adult classes are the notable part — the studio's own line is that it has lovely ladies still tapping in their eighties — and students of all ability levels including beginners are taken. Preschool classes start from eighteen months.
A quiet northern-suburbs clinic whose range runs wider than most: remedial, relaxation and pregnancy massage alongside hot stone work, Bowen therapy and manual lymphatic drainage — two modalities that are genuinely hard to find north of the river. Weekday and Saturday hours, booked online.
A multi-modality centre on Karrinyup Road where two degree-qualified naturopaths offer herbal medicine, homeopathic medicine and nutritional therapy in long-form appointments, with chiropractic, massage and kinesiology in the same rooms. Open from 7.30am six days a week, and no GP referral is needed.
A large central-Joondalup chiropractic clinic with eight practitioners covering spinal adjustment techniques, cold laser therapy, dry needling, cupping and Graston soft-tissue work — one of the biggest chiropractic teams north of the river.
Tracy King works as a reiki master and intuitive healer from an Ocean Reef practice in Perth's northern coastal suburbs, offering in-person energy healing sessions. A small, single-practitioner space rather than a clinic.
Ice baths, traditional and infrared saunas and contrast sessions in private one-hour bookings for singles or pairs. Prices are stated plainly: $45 a session, $80 for two, a five-pack at $200, or a $50 weekly membership covering up to three visits. Group sessions run too.
A Finnish sauna house on Erindale Road, grown out of a mobile sauna that spent a couple of years touring Perth before settling into a permanent room. Sessions are built around aufguss — a facilitator working steam and scent through the sauna in rounds — with hot and cold magnesium plunge pools alongside, and a separate private room for anyone who would rather do sauna and ice bath alone. Physiotherapy and massage are booked from the same room, and the lounge runs group classes and events.
Mark Simpson works from Princess Road in Doubleview and over Zoom, with group breathwork most Tuesday evenings and some weekend afternoons, two-hour one-to-one journeys, and a shorter hour-long introductory session. His training is a year-long course recognised by the Australian Breathwork Association; he is also an 800-hour yoga teacher and a Reiki master, and runs programs for organisations. Prices are on the site: $80 for the hour, $160 for a two-hour private session.

Bathhouse sessions usually run 60 to 90 minutes. The steam room is open to members and casual visitors, with bookings through the Merse app. A Rejuvenate Lounge offers compression, LED light and sound sessions. Open weekdays 5.30am to 9pm, weekends 7am to 7pm.
A reef-sheltered lagoon at the northern end of Trigg, flat enough that the name is fair. The reef holds the swell off, which makes it the calm-water option on a coast that mostly is not, and the water is clearest before the wind arrives.
Flavia Giardino practises clinical nutrition from Padbury with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Nutrition and Dietetic Medicine — education-first nutritional therapy across gut health, women's health, plant-based and family nutrition, built on personalised plans rather than handed-down meal sheets. A free discovery call starts things off.
A myotherapy practice inside Westfield Whitford City, working on neuromusculoskeletal pain, posture and recovery from injury. Appointments are run long as standard rather than in the short slots a shopping-centre address might suggest, and treatment combines hands-on work with dry needling, cupping and exercise the client takes away.
Nollamara Tennis Club runs social pickleball three times a week on its outdoor courts. Visitors pay a $10 fee, paddles are supplied, and newcomers get a short introduction before playing with rotating partners.

Brazilian jiu jitsu, capoeira and Muay Thai taught in Malaga, with a second room in Ellenbrook, by instructors the centre says are qualified at international level. Capoeira is the uncommon one here — the Brazilian art that sits between martial art, dance and music, and it runs for adults as well as children. A FIFO programme is scheduled around swings rather than weeks.

An Innaloo practice on Ellen Stirling Boulevard running reformer classes and a gym floor alongside the physiotherapy rooms, with an infrared sauna on site. A standing over-fifties strength class runs under its own name rather than being folded into the general timetable. HICAPS is on site, so health fund claims are processed at the desk.
A Craigie-based pickleball coach and equipment retailer running social sessions and private lessons in Perth's northern suburbs.

Takes DVA, WorkCover, NDIS and Medicare referrals.

Weekly crystal-bowl sound journeys at three venues across the metro — Trigg by the beach midweek and Sunday, with Fremantle and Victoria Park sessions on Sundays. Casual drop-ins run $44 and a three-session intro pack takes the edge off deciding. A guided meditation opens each session before the bowls take over.
A Wangara academy running since 1987, with Zen Do Kai, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu jitsu, boxing and MMA on one adult timetable from sixteen years up. The studio is unusually direct about what walking in cold feels like — its own wording is that beginners find structure, patience, and a community that remembers what it felt like to start from nothing. A two-week unlimited intro pass is $29.
A small studio in Connolly run by Louise Jennings, combining personal training with health and lifestyle coaching. Group fitness is capped at six, and one-on-one work runs alongside family sessions, post-pregnancy training and teen programmes. The coaching side covers menopause, weight management and lifestyle planning; a 75-minute lifestyle consultation takes in a nutrition plan, an exercise programme and goal setting. Group sessions are $21.50 and lifestyle plans $99, both published on the site.
Perth's dedicated Rolfing practice: Kim works through the classical Rolfing Ten-Series of structural integration sessions, alongside Rolf Movement, fascial manipulation, craniosacral therapy and somatic education — slow, systematic work with the body's connective tissue rather than a standard massage menu. Weekdays by appointment, with one Saturday a month.
Studio Fortè is a reformer Pilates studio in a unit on Carson Road, Malaga, run by owner Emma. How does Oria Haven choose which practices to list?
We build the directory ourselves rather than taking paid submissions, so a practice appears because it exists and serves Perth — not because it paid. Practices can claim their listing for nothing and keep it accurate, photos included. Paid plans add booking links, offers and visitor stats. We never take a cut of bookings, and enquiries go straight to the practice.
