I came to Perth in 1997 to train alongside the Directors of ATI Malaga due to the accomplishment's & professionalism of Master Curtis & Master Lockyer. I was then offered a sponsorship to return in 2004 to then work alongside many experienced coaches. This Gym in my opinion is one of, if not the best TKD / Martial Arts facilities in WA if not Australia. They have produced many champions, helped students of all levels achieve their goals & the overall running of the classes are second to none. In this day & age it's very rare to find a Martial art school with leaders who are former World champions, high level coaches & have built their schools with integrity from the ground up. As a professional Instructor now living in the UK with over 250 students of my own, I am proud have trained & coached under their knowledge & leadership. If I was a Parent looking to enrol their child or an Adult looking to join a trust worthy gym & successful school, I wouldn't hesitate. In my opinion World class ! Joe Schembri 4 X Open World TKD Champion.

From day one, the instructors have been incredibly welcoming, patient, and skilled at keeping training both structured and fun. The positive atmosphere here is unmatched. coaches genuinely care about building confidence, discipline, and self-defense skills in every student. Everyone is pushed to achieve their best in a clean, safe environment. If you're looking for top-tier coaching and a supportive community for yourself or your kids, ATI is as good as it gets!
Both of my sons have trained at ATI and were awarded their black belts with them. The quality of the instructors and the program’s provided are excellent and tailored for everyone from the youngest of children through to seniors and special needs. I would never have any hesitation in recommending ATI to anyone wanting to go down the martial arts pathway. Congrats ATI thank you for teaching our children the right life lessons that will stay with them forever.

IllustrationA short, firm foam roller in moulded polypropylene. Small enough to keep beside the mat or take to class.
Everyday useGoes well with Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
A roller does not need to be clever. It needs to be firm enough to hold its shape and short enough that you actually use it. This is the plain, inexpensive one, and the 30cm length is the right size for calves, thighs and the upper back without taking over the room.

A two-inch textured rubber ball from TriggerPoint, sized to work underfoot.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork · Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
Two inches is the size that fits the arch of a foot, which is what separates it from a plain lacrosse ball. The texture grips the floor instead of skidding away. The cheapest way into self-massage tools and the one most likely to get used.

A yoga mat printed with alignment lines for placing hands and feet.
Goes well with Yoga
Why we picked it
The lines are the whole point. They give you something to check against when you cannot see your own posture and there is no teacher watching, which makes this a mat for practising alone at home rather than in a studio.
