Love this gym! Top equipment, friendly atmosphere. Rebecca and Lola are always up for a chat. I got myself the weekly pass and ended up signing up. Would recommend to anyone, beginner or advanced lifters, but also want it to myself! 😂

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Yoga as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.

Genuinely can’t believe the negative reviews over dogs and staff not being behind the desk? Obviously their showing new members around the gym or attending to the spa area out the back? 😂 I’ve trained at gyms all over Australia and around the world, I’ve been at New Movement for 3 years now and its by far one of the best gyms I’ve trained at. The owners are constantly giving back to the gym upgrading everything and adding new equipment, aircons, fixing broken equipment straight away including fixing the upholstery as soon as it deteriorates. Staff are always friendly and happy to help with any inquiries I have, they respond to calls and emails within minutes. No complaints here hands down the best gym! It’s not the staffs job to pick up and rack weights. People that do that need to have some respect for their environment and other members that train there!
Edit*** have been issued a full refund so excited to try the sauna again** Just go here for the sauna, usually really good however today the sauna wouldn’t go above 47 degrees Celsius despite me trying to change the temp. Didn’t even break a sweat. I was going to complain to the receptionist but it appeared they had left for the day. Today it was a waste of my money and time.

IllustrationA short, firm foam roller in moulded polypropylene. Small enough to keep beside the mat or take to class.
Everyday useGoes well with Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
A roller does not need to be clever. It needs to be firm enough to hold its shape and short enough that you actually use it. This is the plain, inexpensive one, and the 30cm length is the right size for calves, thighs and the upper back without taking over the room.

A two-inch textured rubber ball from TriggerPoint, sized to work underfoot.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork · Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
Two inches is the size that fits the arch of a foot, which is what separates it from a plain lacrosse ball. The texture grips the floor instead of skidding away. The cheapest way into self-massage tools and the one most likely to get used.

A yoga mat printed with alignment lines for placing hands and feet.
Goes well with Yoga
Why we picked it
The lines are the whole point. They give you something to check against when you cannot see your own posture and there is no teacher watching, which makes this a mat for practising alone at home rather than in a studio.
