How these ratings work

These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Art & music therapy as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.

Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.

They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.

I’ve only just started my pole journey, I was welcomed with open arms, non judgement and feel constantly supported. For someone whose self esteem was pretty low, Tammy’s dedication, care and support builds that esteem with every class. I look forward to making my way to the pointy toes with elegance, thank you!!

I absolutely adore flying high! ❤️❤️❤️ As a chronically anxious and stressed person, you walk into flying high and are immediately put at ease. The teachers are amazing and so are the other students. It is such a supportive environment. I love learning static with Tammy, she is so kind and patient. When there is a move or combo which is not my skill yet, she will offer a variation so I can still reach the outcome or goal. Cannot recommend flying high enough ❤️❤️❤️

I joined Flying High after YEARS of thinking about starting pole but never having the confidence to take that step. That was until I found flying high! From before I even started, to my first day in the studio, Tammy has been so helpful, welcoming and supporting. I love the pole classes and also floor play with Melina. The instructors are so knowledgeable and mesmerising when they teach, their skills and ability to make every move look so flawless are my ultimate goals really😂 I’m so excited to see my growth and where my journey takes me 🧚💃💜 Thank you Tammy for creating a safe space

Foam rollersAmazon Basics High-Density Foam Roller, 30cmAmazon Basics

A short, firm foam roller in moulded polypropylene. Small enough to keep beside the mat or take to class.

Everyday use

Goes well with Sleep & Recovery Fitness & Movement

Why we picked it

A roller does not need to be clever. It needs to be firm enough to hold its shape and short enough that you actually use it. This is the plain, inexpensive one, and the 30cm length is the right size for calves, thighs and the upper back without taking over the room.

Massage Ball product photograph
Massage ballsMassage BallTRIGGERPOINT

A two-inch textured rubber ball from TriggerPoint, sized to work underfoot.

Goes well with Massage & Bodywork Sleep & Recovery Fitness & Movement

Why we picked it

Two inches is the size that fits the arch of a foot, which is what separates it from a plain lacrosse ball. The texture grips the floor instead of skidding away. The cheapest way into self-massage tools and the one most likely to get used.

Yoga Mat product photograph
Yoga matsYoga MatHERUI

A yoga mat printed with alignment lines for placing hands and feet.

Goes well with Yoga

Why we picked it

The lines are the whole point. They give you something to check against when you cannot see your own posture and there is no teacher watching, which makes this a mat for practising alone at home rather than in a studio.
