How Oria chooses these spirituality & consciousness places
2 of the 2 spirituality & consciousness listings in the directory match this view. The count is live, and the order puts specialists first — paid placement never moves anyone up it.
As of October 2026, 2 of the 2 Spirituality & Consciousness listings on Oria Haven are in this view (Margaret River) — counted live from the directory.
1 of these specialise in spirituality & consciousness — it is their main focus. The other 1 list it among other things they offer.
Every listing is hand-checked by Oria Haven. Figures updated 9 October 2026.
Most relevant means practices that specialise in this first, then the ones with the most reviews to go on. A listing that publishes its price, describes itself and names its services gets a small nudge, never more than a quarter of a star, because you can decide on it without ringing. Paid placements are shown once, in their own band, and never move anyone up the list.
The guide
Before you go: spirituality & consciousness in Perth
The thing this page won’t do is tell you what energy work does. Practitioners describe it in their own terms and you can read those on their own sites; what we can describe is the room.
A reiki session runs 45 to 75 minutes. You stay fully clothed and lie on a massage table while the practitioner holds their hands on or just above you, working in positions from head to feet. There’s little conversation during it and usually a few minutes of talk at each end. Pranic healing, crystal work and aura clearing follow a broadly similar shape with different tools and vocabulary. Distance sessions, booked by video or scheduled without you present, are offered by a number of Perth practitioners.
On training and cost: reiki is taught in levels — first degree, second degree, then master — passed on by a teacher rather than examined by a board, so ask who trained the practitioner and when. Nobody in this category is AHPRA-registered and no health fund rebates it, so what you’re quoted is what you pay.
Related: energy healing, chakra balancing, sound and float, meditation classes.

Before your visit
- Five to ten minutes early. There is usually a conversation first about what has brought you in.
- Your own comfortable clothes. Nothing is removed except shoes.
-
During the session
- A talk first about what you would like from the session.
- You lie on your back on a treatment table, clothed, usually under a blanket.
- The practitioner works around your head, shoulders, torso and feet, either with hands resting lightly or held above you.
- You will be told beforehand whether there is contact, and you can ask for hands-off. Say if you would rather certain areas were not touched.
- Time at the end to sit up slowly and talk if you want to.
