A Balcatta studio running a six-day timetable across jazz, tap, classical ballet, lyrical and contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics and musical theatre. The adult classes are the notable part — the studio's own line is that it has lovely ladies still tapping in their eighties — and students of all ability levels including beginners are taken. Preschool classes start from eighteen months.

Great teachers, great location, timetable is chocoblock with classes catering to an array of styles of dance and performing arts expression. Social aspects are great too with many familiar faces even tho we still new kids on the block. Highly recommend jody marshall to anyone looking for skillset training and dance technique teaching is at its own calibre, and the cabinets of trophies show brightly just how talented these dancers are. While technique etc is managed the social vibrancy feed throughout the company across all ages really making the place feel like home. Highly recommend
A brilliant dance school. My daughter is 7 and has been going for 3 years. What a level she is performing at now. I am so impressed with the way they teach, the range of classes and the quality of the performances the girls do every year.
Our daughter Amaya does the tiny tots classes here and absolutely loves it. She is so excited and eager to come every week. This is now her second year. Seeing her in the end of year concert was so special, and seeing the older students perform was truly amazing. The owner Jody Marshall clearly loves all the students as individuals, and you can see why they call her 'mum of many'. We hope our daughter continues with dance as she gets older and becomes a part of this extended dance family. A really wonderful environment to teach your children the value and discipline of dance.
I can highly recommend JMDC, my daughter has danced here for 5 years. The teaching is to a professional quality with a fantastic focus on technique, all while being fun and making great friendships. The end of year concerts are amazing and I especially like the age appropriateness of the routines and costuming.
Amazing dance studio. My 3 children dance at Jody's... my son and two daughters. My daughters especially love to dance. This school teaches superior technique while having fun. Jody's attention to detail when teaching technique is really something. Why go anywhere else. Hands down best studio in the area.
