This was my second visit for the remedial massage. My first experience was really good which is why I decided to return. Unfortunately this time my experience with Joanne is not as good as my first time. I booked the last minute, when I showed up for my appointment, I didn’t feel welcome but rush. During the session, she opened the door and left while I’m basically naked (my butts are outside btw) on the massage bad without saying any words (or maybe something but very fast I cannot catch and when I release it she already left) which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespectful. The pressure she put on me is pretty hard even though I had remained her at least 3 times. The attitude I felt is she is not welcome me and maybe something bothers her. At the ending of the session, it ends pretty abruptly, she left with a thank you and that’s it. If she is not happy with the last minute customer, she should let her manager know but not put her temper on her customer. Overall, this time during the session I felt I spent my money to be a punish bag. I don’t think I’ll ever come back due to this experience as I left with pain and not received a good treatment.

I’ve been seeing Tammy at Myofix Cannington for over half a year. As a gym-goer and healthcare worker, I accumulate a lot of tension throughout my body, particularly in my neck and shoulders. At one stage I had limited range of movement in my left shoulder! But after just one session with Tammy, it improved drastically. What I love is that she understands how one part of the body connects with another, so she is not just thorough, but also targets all the right areas. Thanks to regular sessions, I can better manage my neck and shoulder pain and tension, and I’m more aware of how to look after the rest of my body too. Each session is productive and stress-relieving! Highly recommend Tammy, but also the other therapists. (Sometimes I’ll have someone else depending on availability, and they’re great too!)
I highly recommend Lucy at Myofix. I have been a client for the past three years, and every visit has been an excellent experience. The clinic is always clean, welcoming, and professional. Lucy has never disappointed me. Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care are exactly what you hope for when looking for a great massage therapist. She takes the time to focus on the muscles and areas that are causing pain or discomfort, and her treatments are always tailored to what I need. In my opinion, she is the best deep tissue massage therapist I have been to, and her dry needling treatments are exceptional. I have recommended Lucy to many friends and family, and I will continue to do so. If you're looking for an experienced, caring, and highly skilled therapist, I can't recommend Lucy at Myofix highly enough.

Weleda's 100ml plant-oil body massage oil, vegan, most often bought during pregnancy.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork
Why we picked it
An oil rather than a cream, which is the practical difference: it stays slippery long enough to actually massage with. 100ml is a few months of regular use. We describe what it is; claims about what it does are the manufacturer's, not ours.

A two-inch textured rubber ball from TriggerPoint, sized to work underfoot.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork · Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
Two inches is the size that fits the arch of a foot, which is what separates it from a plain lacrosse ball. The texture grips the floor instead of skidding away. The cheapest way into self-massage tools and the one most likely to get used.

A handheld percussive massager with five speeds and a 10mm stroke.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork · Sleep & Recovery
Why we picked it
10mm is the shallow end of the range, which makes it quieter and lighter than the deep-stroke guns and easier to hold at arm's length. Five speeds is more than most people ever use. Light enough to travel with.
