About

Two rooms on the coast — Railway Street in Cottesloe and a second inside the Swanbourne Surf Club — running more than thirty classes a week between them. The timetable is unusually wide for a studio this size: vinyasa and power vinyasa at one end, hatha flow and slow flow in the middle, and yin restorative, yin and yang, and myofascial release at the other. Sound healing runs as its own session and paired with yin.

I've been a member of Horizon Yoga Studio for the past 18 months, and my experience has been truly transformative. When I first joined, I struggled with knee pain and tight hips, making even simple movements challenging. But thanks to the thoughtful classes and expert guidance, my flexibility and strength have improved significantly and my body feels stronger and more balanced. Mentally, the practice has been a wonderful source of calm. The instructors are phenomenal, each bringing their own unique style and warmth. I can't recommend Horizon Yoga enough.

Horizon is an absolutely magical place. Coming to practice yoga here in Cottesloe is the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. The classes are taught to an extremely high standard, with expert yoga teachers who are supportive for all levels. The atmosphere of the studio is a perfect setting: candlelit, full of plants, beautiful floors and music that flows so well with the practice. Horizon promotes an incredibly supportive and nourishing environment. Katrina's classes in particular are an absolute favourite of mine and one of the best parts of my week. I can't recommend this studio highly enough ❤️

The noise scape is unsuitable for a space that is meant to unwind and calm you. Trains honking every 10-ish minutes and traffic noise. When doing a sound bath and lying on a 2mm yoga mat on a cold concrete floor it can get to your bones, it is very cold from the floor. When it rains the drainage adds a noisy waterdrop banging noise to your experience. Improvements would be: Noise proofing the space Mattresses or heating the floor

Highly recommend this yoga studio. Very professional yet authentic with inspiring instructors... just a really nice, accepting, serene vibe. The Cottesloe studio is a beautiful, calming space and the Swanbourne studio is stunning ... where else can you practise yoga with a view of the ocean? Sunset yoga sessions are unforgettable.

I've been consistently attending Horizon Yoga for well over a year now, and I continue to find more to love about the place all the time. The Cottesloe studio is unique, intimate and authentic with great sound/music, wonderful ambience and a beautifully curated retail space to browse in after class! The Swanbourne studio captures sublime ocean views and offers a truly special nature-interactive experience during every class. Alex and Katrina are clearly passionate about the Horizon family and have selected wonderful teachers who each bring their own unique flair and knowledge to the community. Through my consistent practice, I am grateful to continually learn so much about yoga, not just the asanas, but the lifestyle and philosophy - wisdom each teacher shares in their own gentle way. I'd highly recommend the vinyasa, slow flow, yin and yang, deep release, meditation and sound healing classes.
