🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A blissful escape – pure relaxation in nature’s heart We stayed in the Moroccan Room at Mudstone Spa Resort for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was absolute perfection from start to finish. As soon as you step inside, you’re welcomed by warm, earthy decor with beautiful wooden tones and the calming scent of essential oils. The soft lamp lighting creates a naturally cozy and intimate ambience, perfect for unwinding. The room is nestled deep in the forest, so the only sounds you hear are the blissful chorus of nature and wildlife. As we entered, a relaxing soundtrack and video of Pemberton were playing on the TV, which instantly set the tone for our stay. Waiting for us were soft, clean robes and little slippers for the outdoor spa bath – such a thoughtful touch. The king-sized bed faces gorgeous panelled windows looking out into the forest, so you can wake up to the most tranquil views imaginable. The spa bath is heavenly and comfortably fits two people – the ultimate spot for soaking and letting the world melt away. The staff were outstanding – quick to help, incredibly friendly, and made us feel completely looked after without ever intruding on our privacy. You can tell they genuinely care about making your stay perfect. This place is a true relaxation hub, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d encourage anyone considering it to ignore the odd negative reviews – some people just like to complain. Our experience was flawless, and Mudstone is now our go-to escape.

Beautiful surrounds and private, plenty of native wildlife. We stayed in the rail cottage, bed was very comfortable, spa had cushions missing/broken, light not working, tired and in need of some attention. Kitchen was lacking in equipment, old electric frying pan or microwave to cook with. Bathtub old and tired, plenty of firewood supplied, very cosy. We felt a little overpriced with so many places to choose from. An enjoyable relaxing stay.
My partner and I stayed 2 nights in the spa cottage. From the 1st drive up the driveway, we were impressed as we could see the smoke from the fireplace bellowing out of the chimney. The location is nice and isolated, yet only a short drive into Pemberton. The entrance into the cottage is beautiful and the interior no different, it's old style charm really won our hearts. The ferns and plants surrounding the wooden deck leading to the jacuzzi and sauna is an amazing touch. Jacuzzi is set in a spot looking into the tall trees and a slight view of the sky. Overall our experience here was nothing short of 5/5 starts. Will and have already recommended to friends and family looking for a few days of serenity. Taylor & Alexie
