A wood-fired Finnish sauna on wheels, run by a Finnish and German couple, moving around the Margaret River area with cold plunge and breathwork sessions. Wood-fired rather than electric, which is a different heat and the reason people seek it out.

A recovery room in the middle of town with both saunas — traditional Finnish and infrared — alongside a hot plunge and an ice bath. Massage is booked separately. Being on Bussell Highway makes it the one you can walk to rather than drive to.
Adults-only accommodation in forest about ten minutes from Pemberton, built around private spa time rather than treatments: four units, each with its own jacuzzi or outdoor spa bath, and three with a sauna. The Spa Cottage is a converted vintage rail carriage, and two of the suites look across to Warren National Park. Rates start from $330. Phone reception is limited and some units have no wifi.
A mobile sauna parked at the Rivermouth carpark, so the cold plunge is the Indian Ocean rather than a tub. Sweat, walk down, get in, repeat. Check the schedule before driving out — it moves.

How Oria chooses these spa & recovery places
4 of the 16 spa & recovery listings in the directory match this view. The count is live, and the order puts specialists first — paid placement never moves anyone up it.
As of October 2026, 4 of the 16 Spa & Recovery listings on Oria Haven are in this view (Margaret River) — counted live from the directory.
Every listing is hand-checked by Oria Haven. Figures updated 8 October 2026.
Most relevant means practices that specialise in this first, then the ones with the most reviews to go on. A listing that publishes its price, describes itself and names its services gets a small nudge, never more than a quarter of a star, because you can decide on it without ringing. Paid placements are shown once, in their own band, and never move anyone up the list.

Before you go: Traditional Saunas in the Margaret River region
Most of the 4 places here pair the heat with cold water, whether an ice bath, a cold plunge or a magnesium pool, and one sauna house runs its sessions around aufguss, where a facilitator works steam and scent through the room in rounds.
Where prices are published, a sauna-and-plunge session starts at about $25 for thirty minutes and an hour is about $35, and one Subiaco room discounts its 5am to 7am sessions. Communal beachside sessions often run a flat hour.
Bring swimwear for communal and bathhouse sessions, check whether towels are supplied, and note that some places set a minimum age: sixteen at one hotel spa, eighteen at one bathhouse. Oria Haven is a directory, not a health service. If you have a health concern, or you're pregnant or unsure, speak with your GP or a registered practitioner before you book.
