I came to Freo for a 3 week holiday. I found the Yoga Lab website easy to use and booked the intro offer. My first class was superb. Shawn welcomed us all with a warm friendly smile and happy, excited chatter. The studio is beautiful, spacious and calm. Immediately I noticed the sound system. The music sometimes mesmorising, a humming bass, or a thought provoking piano. That for me was quite impressive. The yoga flow started steady, with a rising tempo, emphasis on breath with still moments inbetween moves just to assess how we were feeling. Tuning in. Shawn's knowledge is incredible, anatomy, muscle, bone information and the small tweaks to a pose really made an impact. Shawn's spiritual talk, wisdom and often comedy lightness was enjoyed. I found The Yoga Lab deeply nourishing for the mind and body. I would 100% reccomend. Probably the best Yoga studio I've ever experienced. Thank you for making my Freo trip super special !!
Here I go, I been going to Yogalab from more than 1 year and the reason why I write my review is because today I had the best yoga class of my life. Thanks Shaun, that was amazing. Since the first time that I been in this place I feel very welcomed my all the teachers, they always have the best disposition to help and teach from their soul. I never pick what kind of class assist, so for me it’s always something new. This week I also went to a yin & sound class and I feel amazed about the connection reached. Great environment, plenty parking around. Come and visit them and for sure you’ll get surprised. Ps. On winter feels amazing heard the rain from the studio.
Such a special yoga studio comprised of a beautiful open/minimalist space and backed by a supportive/wholesome community. The classes and teachers are second to none and my yoga teacher training course with Shawn was phenomenal! Cherry on top is the studio’s location in the heart of Freo. What a hidden little gem this yoga studio is! Have absolutely loved coming to classes here and always leave feeling better than when I walked in. The space is beautiful and the teachers are always so friendly and welcoming. I have taken my partner here who was very apprehensive coming to his first ever yoga class - he had a great experience and now we come together every week. Particularly love the flow and yin and sound classes 🩷 thankyou for creating this space and what you offer us and our local community ✨
Discovered Yogalab about a year ago and have gone 3 times a week since, such a cool space with amazing teachers and vibe. Shawn is a legend and makes everyone feel so welcome, regardless of ability or age. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!!
