I recently had a full body DEXA scan with Salem and was very impressed with the experience. I went in for a dexa scan and honestly couldn’t fault the experience. The team were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and professional, and the whole process was smooth and convenient from start to finish. Reception was easy to find, I was seen straight away, both scans were completed in under 20 minutes, and I was taken through my results immediately afterwards. Everything was explained clearly, and all my questions were answered with a level of care that you can’t fake. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dexa scan in Perth.
Unsure how accurate the DEXA scanner is. Results showed I was 5.5% body fat which I think it highly unlikely… probs closer to 10-15%. Staff were amazing, friendly and informative. I did email querying the results but didn’t hear back which is slightly disappointing, but I did only pay for the scan and not the ‘consultation’ extra. Update 15/4/26: practice manager Alice investigated the issue with my scan results. Invited me back in to have a second scan free of charge to obtain more accurate result, that I’m happy with as they seem way more realistic than 5% bf! Handled it very well, very impressed with their customer service. Would recommend

Had a dexa and bone density scan here this morning. Was so easy to get to, just off at the train, get to top of platform, walk along the walkway, in vicinity of the pay public toilets. Google maps tried to send me back down onto the road. Anyway, it's well signed. The staff were super friendly, the scan is quick and simple, nothing like mri that can be a bit claustrophobic. It was easy to book online, had a short phone consult with physio the day before for referral. Everything explained very well, results in the same day. Great baseline data for future comparison.
