Read all on GoogleUpdate - coffee has gotten much better and not as bitter/acidic tasting (not sure what eas changed). Have tried more of the menu - food products (soups/sandwiches) were much better than thier bakery items I found (they taste good, but still remind me of grocery store items for some reason). Great atmosphere and plenty of seating. Only darker roasted beans so limited choices there. Only tried an apple turnover - tastes like what you'd pick up at any grocery store. Reasonable priced though. Will have to try other food offerings next time I stop in.
I was googling sandwich, places near me and came upon this little gem. The inside was so clean and absolutely adorable. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and helped answer. Any questions I had. I ordered two chicken and bacon croissant sandwiches for my kids and a butter croissant for myself. It was amazing. The croissants are baked in house and were delicious. Annabelle was such an angel and even remembered my name when I came back around to grab bottled water. Will definitely be going back again. Ps. The latte was delicious
My family and I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Liminal Cafe, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a unique and cozy decor that immediately makes you feel at home. The menu offers a fantastic selection of drinks and dishes, from delicious coffee to scrumptious pastries. We tried their chai latte, iced latte, roasted Hazelnut and Spanish latte and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The food options are impressive, with fresh ingredients that truly stand out. I particularly enjoyed the croissant and the cookie which was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff at The Liminal Cafe are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and their passion for great service shines through. Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to work or a place to catch up with friends, this cafe is a must-visit. I highly recommend The Liminal Cafe to anyone in the Grande Prairie area—it's a delightful retreat that I will definitely be returning to!
Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly staff, and amazing coffee. One of the owners made me a bean recommendation they had in store for my moka pot, and it is wonderful. I also asked for a recommendation for my drink in shop, and what I got was unreal. Had a croissant (that they get shipped from Italy!!) and it too was delicious. If you’re looking for a bespoke coffee experience, look no further than the liminal place cafe!
I've gotten to know the owners of this lovely coffee shop over the last few months. And they are wonderful, kind and generous. Their knowledge about coffee is really impressive, and they are very helpful if you're wanting to grow in your understanding of the wild world of coffee. Their coffee is consistent and really, really good. They know what they're doing when it comes to all their coffee drinks and they do it outstandingly well. The food is solidly decent. Not crazy outstanding by any means, just solidly good. The atmosphere of the cafe is chill and quiet, and the baristas are always friendly, helpful, and chatty. Keep doing what you're doing Liminal Place! I'm proud that you're a part of Grande Prairie
