Absolutely amazing experience with Gemma! She took the time to thoroughly advise us on everything—from the right treatment for my daughter’s hair to the perfect color choice. Her knowledge, honesty, and attention to detail made us feel completely confident in her recommendations. She was so patient and genuinely cared about achieving the best result. We walked out beyond happy! I think we’ve finally found our hairdresser for life. Highly, highly recommend!

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Day spa as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.
Why our editors picked it
“A low-tox hair salon in Ellenbrook whose head spa menu runs from a 70-minute scalp facial at $189.99 to the two-hour Serenity & Stone at $399, which adds an organic facial and hot stones; one ritual pairs the head spa with sound healing. A camera scalp analysis comes first, and hair is left semi-dry, with a blow-dry as an extra. It is a salon rather than a spa, in the north-east suburbs.”
Best Of guides are an editorial selection. A practice cannot pay to be in one.

100% recommend! Such an amazing first experience. The whole appointment felt so relaxing and I felt really checked in with the whole time. We shared so much knowledge about how to care for my curls which I loved. My haircut was exactly what I wanted too, creating lift with layers and energising my fringe. The salon is beautiful and clearly designed with relaxation in mind. I especially loved the basin experience. And the little touches like the thank you letter and gifts were such a lovely surprise. I left feeling relaxed, happy and really confident to come back, and confident in the knowledge I gained about how to look after my curls.
Within a few minutes of being at Ardor Organics I was transported into a luxurious resort spa, or so I thought. I was given a gorgeous ‘welcome pack’ and then came the massage & hair wash by one of their apprentices (which was fabulous btw). I have short fine and thin hair so it’s always nerve racking when going somewhere new, our hair is everything right?!?! Juliana cut my hair into a style that I’m not only happy with but it’s easy to manage too. A very happy (66yr old) client to have found herself a new hairstylist that’s new to the area. Ardor is not just for the young, all are made to feel welcome. This salon has a very pleasant and relaxing vibe. Orbrigado Juliana

IllustrationA mulberry silk sleep mask with a contoured shape that keeps the fabric off the eyelids, and an adjustable strap.
Makes a giftGoes well with Sleep & Recovery
Why we picked it
The simplest change to an evening is making it dark. Silk sits lightly, does not pull at the skin, and this one is shaped so the eyes are not pressed. It is also the mask sound bath and yoga nidra hosts hand out, which is a fair recommendation on its own.

Everyday useGoes well with Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
A roller does not need to be clever. It needs to be firm enough to hold its shape and short enough that you actually use it. This is the plain, inexpensive one, and the 30cm length is the right size for calves, thighs and the upper back without taking over the room.
