I can’t recommend Vicki’s Back to Basics birthing class enough. She was absolutely incredible! so knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what she teaches. I walked away learning so much valuable information that I truly feel prepared and empowered for birth. Before the class, I had a lot of worries and unknowns, but Vicki has completely changed my mindset. I now feel calm, confident, and actually excited for the experience ahead. I recently attended one of Vikki’s birth workshops with Back to Basics Birthing, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Vikki created such a calm, and empowering atmosphere. Her knowledge is incredible, and she explains everything in a way that feels grounded, and genuinely helpful. What really stood out was how much Vikki cares. She listens, answers every question with patience and confidence, and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and included. The practical tools, mindset shifts, and evidence-based information she shares completely changed how I felt about birth. As first time parents, we were quite nervous about how our birth could go many different ways, but my partner and I left her workshop feeling informed, prepared, and truly empowered, and went on to have an amazing birth! I believe this was purely due to Vikki’s education and guidance If you’re looking for a birth educator who is warm, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about helping families have a positive birth experience, Vikki is amazing. I’m so grateful for her guidance and would recommend her course to anyone preparing for birth!
The Back to Basics classes were so valuable and thorough for both my husband and I. Vicki is an expert, and I took many notes. I'm grateful for the individual help and in-depth resources too whenever I had questions. Session 3 was very practical in particular with the use of rebozo, acupressure and massages, and handy cheat sheets for these! We also received a login for the Back to Basics online course which has been great for refreshing on topics and finding extra info. So grateful for the gift bags too - there was a book, many awesome samples, a scalp massager (my favourite thing), and many more helpful tools. We both feel more confident, equipt and positive about having our upcoming baby since taking the course. Strongly recommend for everyone!!
I honestly can not recommend Back to Basics Birthing classes for expecting parents! 🤩🙏🏻 We honestly can’t thank Vicki enough! The knowledge we have come away with!! You seriously can’t get all this information from a book! This knowledge comes from years of research and experience and something Vicki has a lot of! We feel more comfortable and confident going into labour! Especially with tools and tips we learnt (breathing techniques, massage and pressure points ect) for both mother and partner For me personally I love understanding and Trusting! how and what by body is capable of and understanding the different stages of labour! I’ve always believed ‘knowledge is power’ this rings ever so deeply for labour
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed attending Vicki's Back to Basics Birthing classes and felt so thankful to have found a birthing class that aligned with us. We especially loved that the class was small and there was plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
