About
Life in Flow is the breathwork arm of Breathe Counselling, a Perth counselling practice with rooms across the city. Joanna Gwynn, the practice's co-director and an internationally accredited breathwork practitioner with trauma-informed and somatic training, runs individual sessions in person and online and small group sessions, offered at the Perth, Rockingham and Mandurah clinics. The sessions are built as a series of five, each with a different focus, and are gentle enough for children.

As part of our Global EHS Day, Joanna facilitated a mini Breathwork session for approximately 30 employees. Despite the short format, she quickly created a calm, engaging environment that allowed everyone to pause, reset and be fully present. People left feeling relaxed, refreshed and smiling, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Even those who had never tried breathwork before commented on how beneficial and enjoyable the experiences was. Joanna is engaging, knowledgeable and creates a space where everyone feels included. Joanna's guidance through my breathwork session made me feel supported and safe. Her gentle caring manner helped me slow down and relax into an issue where I was stuck. Nick is trustworthy, an excellent listener, and he creates a very safe space for discussing sensitive personal matters. My husband and I went for relationship counselling and we both feel we received so much more than we anticipated. Nick took each of us on a journey of self-empowerment within the scope of the relationship counselling, and we both came out the other side happier people.
