I’ve been meditating with Perth Meditation for the past 9 years, and it has had a deeply positive impact on my life. The first year brought genuine shifts in my perspective and understanding of life, while the years since have helped me sustain those insights and continuously improve my practice. Meditation has given me greater clarity, resilience, and balance, making life’s challenges much easier to navigate. It has also positively influenced my overall wellbeing, supporting a consistent exercise routine, healthier habits, and a low-harm lifestyle. Meditation feels like a natural part of life for me, much like personal hygiene, exercise, and diet. I also appreciate that everyone’s experience is unique, and this practice allows people to explore either the scientific or spiritual side as much or as little as they choose. As someone with a technical background, a business, and a family, I’ve found the practice integrates easily into everyday life. I’m very grateful for the community and guidance Perth Meditation has provided over the years.

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Meditation as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.

What an amazing journey I started almost 13 years ago. This meditation method gave me a new way of seeing life. Along the years, I went through ups and down but being able to understand how my mind works and how I was constantly in the past or making big plans for the future but not really leaving here and now. In my life now, only today exists and its fantastic. Thank you for the dedication of all the helpers who guide me on my journey 🙏 ❤️
Truly amazing meditation that’s simple and logic. What I had stored in my mind was causing nothing but stress. Just having an overload of thoughts that I couldn’t control and trying different ways to feel good just didn’t work. This Method taught me what the mind is and how to release them minds that I carried whole life. Just clearing them out was so refreshing, light and natural. Feeling so much healthier, naturally happy and knowing so much more of what life is. The answer exists inside. Only when I did this I could find it.Makes so much sense!

IllustrationA crescent zafu filled with buckwheat hulls, with a washable cotton cover and a carry handle. Sits you a little higher than the floor so the knees drop and the back stays upright.

Why we picked it
The thing most people are missing when they say they cannot sit still is a cushion of the right height. A crescent shape gives the thighs somewhere to go, and buckwheat can be added or taken out until it is yours. It is the first thing we would put in a meditation corner.

Why we picked it
Restorative yoga is mostly the art of being held up by the right prop, and a bolster is the prop. Hugger Mugger's has been the studio standard for decades because the core does not go soft. Under the knees, along the spine, or across the lap for a long sit.

Why we picked it
The one meditation book we would hand to someone who has never sat down to meditate. The chapters are two or three pages each, secular in tone, and you can open it anywhere. Thirty years on it is still the plainest introduction there is.
