Excellent retreat centre. Every room has its own ensuite. Dining room is spacious, light and airy. Walking tracks through bushland, hidden lookouts, areas for meditation and contemplation outdoors. Excellent meditation hall. Staff are wonderful as are the Ajahns (Monks who teach).

Jhana Grove is a place we need to visit at least once in our lifetime to know why peace and solitude matter in our lives. If you get to go more than once, you are super lucky! I was on Ajahn Brahm’s 9 day retreat and it changed me in terms of perspective in life: why the heck we are so busy all the time and running around like a headless chicken? It was easy to find peace and beauty at Jhana Grove day or night. The cottages are 6 star accommodations and I had the best sleep of my life in there. Dinning Hall makes you feel at home when you are eating or having a hot drink. The forest surrounding this place is a magical stillness and such a joy to stroll in. What I love best is the place runs on an eco friendly built, with rainwater and no plastic bags as its mode of operation. Lifelong inspiration for the mind. Go if you have the chance!
