I’ve been coming to this Pilates studio for just over a year now and truly love it. The classes are amazing and always thoughtfully tailored to suit different needs and levels, which makes every session feel both supportive and empowering. The studio itself is such a beautiful, calming space, and the instructors are warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. I’ve also loved meeting the fellow members, it really feels like a lovely little community. I always leave feeling stronger, happier, and so glad I came. Highly recommend 🤍

Why our editors picked it
Run this practice? Download the seal for your website“Five classes for $55 is the lowest per-class figure in this guide, and there are more than seventy-five reformer classes a week to use it on. The studio sits inside a multidisciplinary clinic — physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, psychology, remedial massage — with a second site at Darlington, so the hills are covered as well as Guildford.”

I had been wanting to try reformer for a while and after seeing the great value induction offer I decided to try Manna Wellness. The instructor already knew it was my first session when I arrived so I didnt feel awkward and she guided me throughout the whole session whilst still teaching the entire class. Ive attended classes with different instructors and they have all been so warm and welcoming. The classes are a mix of relaxation and training. After a class it feels like ive done a really good work out at the gym. Im a complete convert and have now gone from my induction offer to a 3 x a week member. Xxx
I joined Manna in October 2023, since my first class my lower back and hips stopped hurting. The benefits were so great I did 3 classes a week for about a year then increased to 4 a week. The studio is beautiful and the instructors are excellent, all of them are beautiful professionals. I am so glad I started Pilates after years of weightlifting and having tight sore back and body, Pilates is so much better for my mental health. Coming to Manna is the happiest parts of my day!!!

IllustrationA short, firm foam roller in moulded polypropylene. Small enough to keep beside the mat or take to class.
Everyday useGoes well with Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
A roller does not need to be clever. It needs to be firm enough to hold its shape and short enough that you actually use it. This is the plain, inexpensive one, and the 30cm length is the right size for calves, thighs and the upper back without taking over the room.

A two-inch textured rubber ball from TriggerPoint, sized to work underfoot.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork · Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
Two inches is the size that fits the arch of a foot, which is what separates it from a plain lacrosse ball. The texture grips the floor instead of skidding away. The cheapest way into self-massage tools and the one most likely to get used.

A yoga mat printed with alignment lines for placing hands and feet.
Goes well with Yoga
Why we picked it
The lines are the whole point. They give you something to check against when you cannot see your own posture and there is no teacher watching, which makes this a mat for practising alone at home rather than in a studio.
