I have just done completed my 3rd class and I'm so happy that I made the decision to try Best Body. I thought I'd be overwhelmed but the experience has been great. The instructors are there to help every step of the way and are so encouraging. Elissa has been amazing and I'm looking forward to my next class.

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Pilates as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.
Why our editors picked it
“The most transparent pricing of any reformer studio in the directory, and that is not a small thing in an industry that mostly makes you enquire: $45 casual, weekly memberships from $48 for two classes up to $80 for four, and a six-week money-back guarantee attached. Open from 6am on weekdays with parking on site.”
Best Of guides are an editorial selection. A practice cannot pay to be in one.

Today was my 3rd class with Best Body, in Bassendean. So far I'm enjoying the classes. I'm a bit struggling with understanding of pronunciation of instructors as I'm not from Australia, and I would appreciate the instructors talking a bit slower and more clearly. Sometimes instructor shows how the exercise should be performed on the Reformer and it helps better to understand how to do it. Would be great if instructor could tell more loudly which springs to use for each exercise. Thanks for consideration.
Great Instructors and the classes are well suited to everyone. I have limitations due to injuries etc, but they adjust the exercise so I can do them safely for me. They will instruct you on what springs to use to suit the level you want to work at for each exercise. Very reasonably priced sessions. Always feel very comfortable attending the sessions.

IllustrationA short, firm foam roller in moulded polypropylene. Small enough to keep beside the mat or take to class.
Everyday useGoes well with Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
A roller does not need to be clever. It needs to be firm enough to hold its shape and short enough that you actually use it. This is the plain, inexpensive one, and the 30cm length is the right size for calves, thighs and the upper back without taking over the room.

A two-inch textured rubber ball from TriggerPoint, sized to work underfoot.
Goes well with Massage & Bodywork · Sleep & Recovery · Fitness & Movement
Why we picked it
Two inches is the size that fits the arch of a foot, which is what separates it from a plain lacrosse ball. The texture grips the floor instead of skidding away. The cheapest way into self-massage tools and the one most likely to get used.

A yoga mat printed with alignment lines for placing hands and feet.
Goes well with Yoga
Why we picked it
The lines are the whole point. They give you something to check against when you cannot see your own posture and there is no teacher watching, which makes this a mat for practising alone at home rather than in a studio.
