My first healing activity was the Handpan First Touch class at Other Options Healing, and it was the first time I truly felt the power of healing. Later, I also joined the Aroma-Posture Adjustment workshop. The teachers here are gentle and professional, and there’s such a wide variety of programs to explore. This is really a wonderful place to experience unique forms of learning and healing. I also heard they can even customize corporate wellness programs—definitely worth trying!

What it’s like
Sessions run long — an hour and a half to two hours — and can be taken individually, as a pair or as a family. Ground covered includes parenting, mindfulness, breathwork, communication and the brain-body connection, and she also runs small retreats capped at six. Coaching happens at her place or somewhere the client chooses.
Some music, still, on your own.
you would rather have someone to yourself than join a class, and you can give it most of a morning.

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Mindfulness coaching as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.

I’ve joined several holistic events organized by Another Option Healing. So I’m here to say a few words…The variety of events they offers is amazing! The organizer YC is warm, responsible, thoughtful, and genuinely caring toward every participant. She puts heart into what she does. And even takes pics and videos for us to capture and remember the moment. Great experience!
Our team had a fantastic experience at the Soma Aura workshop! The workshop was interactive, insightful, and perfectly organized. The trainer was an expert and helped us all better understand our personality traits. Definitely recommend this for team building!

Why we picked it
The thing most people are missing when they say they cannot sit still is a cushion of the right height. A crescent shape gives the thighs somewhere to go, and buckwheat can be added or taken out until it is yours. It is the first thing we would put in a meditation corner.

Why we picked it
Restorative yoga is mostly the art of being held up by the right prop, and a bolster is the prop. Hugger Mugger's has been the studio standard for decades because the core does not go soft. Under the knees, along the spine, or across the lap for a long sit.

Why we picked it
The one meditation book we would hand to someone who has never sat down to meditate. The chapters are two or three pages each, secular in tone, and you can open it anywhere. Thirty years on it is still the plainest introduction there is.
