Twelve venues across Perth, most of them within sight of water — Scarborough Beach, City Beach, Cottesloe, Port Beach and Point Walter among them, alongside indoor rooms in West Leederville, East Perth, Burswood, Nedlands and Karrinyup shopping centre. Sessions run a flat sixty minutes on the hour and are communal rather than private, with venue capacities between seven and twenty. Cold water varies by site: ice pools, ice baths, ice showers, a magnesium pool, and at the beach venues the ocean itself. Booking is through the studio's own app.

Sauna set to 90C and has a ladle with eucalyptus water in each of the three spacious saunas. This is a great enhancer to the experience. Hot pool set to about 37C and is very relaxing. Cold pool set to 10C warmer than expected though still decent. Actual temperature varies - obviously more bodies in there, temperature rises and gets to 11-12C however I’ve clocked it down to 8.7C during a quiet (six people) session. They could have “cold hours” where they turn the temperature down to 5-8C to cater for the more seasoned members. They could benefit from a step to assist some members getting in and out of the hot pool and ice bath as many have mentioned quite a drop for them. Overall vibe and build quality is exceptional. They certainly provide good value and top facilities for their members and casual drop ins. The staff are all excellent, helpful and provide great service. As a brand Alchemy cares about and responds to their members feedback. 👍🏽
Lovely relaxation spot. Facility is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Three sauna rooms, and ice bath and a hot tub (also mostly sitting at less than 40 degrees) Can be abit noisy during peak times with large groups so avoid those sessions if its not your thing. Parking is somewhat difficult at times.
Love Alchemy East Perth - the saunas are always clean, bathrooms are clean. Proactive and friendly staff (big shout out to Kye and Will). Great community vibe and loved the members event recently (and look forward to more in the future!)
Their website and app are diabolically terrible. My husband and I have an 8 months only and were looking forward to a selfcare day, while my folks looked after bubs. We tried for 48 hours to book a session, the website throws constant errors, the app won’t let you login and when you try to reset the password it then pops up with an error. So I called the number and left a message, someone called me back to say yes they were having issue but they couldn’t book us in or help in any way other than giving us a help email, which obviously isn’t any help when you’re trying to book for that day. Now I get that businesses have tech issues but having no back up support to take bookings is pretty poor.
Open late, excellent facilities hot and cold pools as well as the saunas.
