Shanie is such a lovely person. She carries such beautiful energy and really helped me reconnect to my own core energy in a time where I felt completely lost. I did an individual session with her in her beautiful studio and she made me feel safe and helped me go really deep. Absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend her and can't wait to go and see her again to continue my journey of healing. Thank you for doing such amazing work Shanie 🌻🙏

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Breathwork as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.

I recently experienced a remote Quantum Energy Healing, followed by an in-person review and an energy clearing with Shanie. Following the remote healing, I received a very detailed report from Shanie about her experience of the healing session with her interpretations of the experience, and also suggestions of things I might want to consider further. I found something that resonated in everything that Shanie noted in the report – it gave me lots to ponder including a few very significant takeaways. A few weeks later I met with Shanie in her beautiful studio. We talked over the report together and went a bit deeper into her interpretations and my responses. Shanie then did the most incredible energy clearing for me, during which I had some quite real and intense physical and emotional reactions – Shanie is really in tune with something mysterious and she has a rare ability to tap into other people's energy! Afterwards I felt so much lighter and calmer, and I left feeling more optimistic than I have in a long time. Thank you, Shanie!!
Shanie is such a beautiful person, very friendly and the studio set up is lovely! My first session with Shanie was so powerful and meaningful, thank you so much for your support 💜 highly recommend anyone wanting to dive deep into themselves to take a session with Shanie! Loved the cacao balls! So delicious

IllustrationA crescent zafu filled with buckwheat hulls, with a washable cotton cover and a carry handle. Sits you a little higher than the floor so the knees drop and the back stays upright.

Why we picked it
The thing most people are missing when they say they cannot sit still is a cushion of the right height. A crescent shape gives the thighs somewhere to go, and buckwheat can be added or taken out until it is yours. It is the first thing we would put in a meditation corner.

Everyday useGoes well with Meditation classes · Yoga
Why we picked it
Restorative yoga is mostly the art of being held up by the right prop, and a bolster is the prop. Hugger Mugger's has been the studio standard for decades because the core does not go soft. Under the knees, along the spine, or across the lap for a long sit.
IllustrationJon Kabat-Zinn's short chapters on mindfulness in everyday life, from the founder of mindfulness-based stress reduction. Paperback edition.
Good for beginnersGoes well with Meditation classes · Mindfulness coaching
Why we picked it
The one meditation book we would hand to someone who has never sat down to meditate. The chapters are two or three pages each, secular in tone, and you can open it anywhere. Thirty years on it is still the plainest introduction there is.
