A life changing experience would be an understatement! I reached out to Meg at a time of chronic stress, I had no idea on how to breath or the importance of it. My first appointment felt like I had finally lifted a weight off my chest. Essentially it made me fall in love with breathing and I was surprised how quickly I started to notice the benefits. I religiously do a practise from Breathe TV every morning, my stress levels have now gone, my concentration levels are spot on and I feel like I am back to being 'myself'. I am very grateful to have found school of breathe.

How these ratings work
These bars are a guide, not a score of this business. Each starts from Oria Haven’s profile of Breathwork as a kind of session, then is adjusted by facts stored on this listing: its price band, its group size and whether it welcomes beginners.
Nobody has rated this particular venue in person, and reviews are not fed in. Where we have no fact about this listing behind a bar — for example how many people share the room — we leave that bar out rather than guess.
They describe the room — how quiet, how physical, how many people — never what a session is supposed to do for you.

I have been doing 1:1 breath practice with Hannah for nearly a year now and I could not recommend her enough. She always puts a lot of thought into programming her sessions and her calming and positive energy is infectious. My weekly breath sessions with Hannah have helped with my mental health through multiple lockdowns and significantly changed how I engage my breath during high impact gym workouts.

Why we picked it
The thing most people are missing when they say they cannot sit still is a cushion of the right height. A crescent shape gives the thighs somewhere to go, and buckwheat can be added or taken out until it is yours. It is the first thing we would put in a meditation corner.

Why we picked it
Restorative yoga is mostly the art of being held up by the right prop, and a bolster is the prop. Hugger Mugger's has been the studio standard for decades because the core does not go soft. Under the knees, along the spine, or across the lap for a long sit.

Why we picked it
The one meditation book we would hand to someone who has never sat down to meditate. The chapters are two or three pages each, secular in tone, and you can open it anywhere. Thirty years on it is still the plainest introduction there is.
