About
The state aquatic centre on Stephenson Avenue, still widely known as HBF Stadium, running deep-water aqua classes alongside its pools and gym floor. Deep water means the feet do not touch the bottom and buoyancy equipment holds you up, which the centre notes is open to people who are not confident swimmers. Classes come with gym membership or can be paid for singly.

Read all on GoogleIndoor and outdoor pools, clean change rooms, gym and excellent physio as well as kids gymnastics, indoor courts etc. Also diving, older person's exercise classes, and exercise classes too. Cafe sells coffee and has space for a catch up, although gets busy at times. Hot chips after a swim really hit the spot. You can also pick up swim gear at the shop inside. Parking is tricky in peak periods when special events are on, but these are well advised by the Centre, and I've always found a spot, just might be a bit of a walk compared to right out the front.
Great venue, friendly and helpful staff. But I love it because this was the venue where Jesus changed my life at 18 years old. And it’s a place where many other 1000s of teenagers have encountered Jesus. He changed my life and He can change yours too!!❤️ I also appreciate the free and convenient parking unlike other stadiums. Staff is super friendly and helpful as well.
Outstanding facility. Outdoor, indoor 50mt pools. Club water polo pool and a indoor diving facility!
We enjoyed the afternoon of basketball, but take note-> DO NOT purchase row AA on the corners as they have a thick handrail exactly at eye-level making it impossible to see. These should be blacked out and not sold as the view is so awful. The rest of the seating provides decent views even in the back rows, which is where we eventually ended up.
Awesome concert venue. attended Lany concert. Staff were nice enough to bring out some paper cups with water during the intermission ❤️ it's the small things that matter. Thanks!
