Dietetics in Perth — listings
Ele Stojanoska practises as a gastrointestinal dietitian across rooms in Nedlands and Murdoch, FODMAP-certified and working exclusively in gut-focused medical nutrition therapy alongside the gastroenterology practices she consults from. Telehealth available.
A team practice on Fitzgerald Street led by principal dietitian Sonya Douglas, working across eating disorders, digestive and women's health, autism and ADHD, chronic conditions, sports nutrition and NDIS support. Open six days with telehealth available, no referral needed, and supermarket tours for people who want the theory made practical.
Jessica Ruescher, an accredited practising dietitian with more than fifteen years in practice, consults from Fremantle with a deliberately kind, non-judgemental style — evidence-based nutrition support across weight, gut health, diabetes and cholesterol.
Megan Hardy directs this multi-location Perth dietetic practice, offering evidence-based, personalised nutrition consultations across weight management, chronic disease, gut health and women's health.
Senior APDs Katie Lenhoff and Louise Mousli consult from Leederville and Palmyra, bringing hospital-grade experience — renal, cardiology and respiratory dietetics between them — into private practice across kidney and heart health, diabetes, gut health and nutrition through the life stages. Medicare rebates apply with a GP plan; NDIS provider; virtual and in-person appointments.
A small West Perth clinic led by Dr Nicola Lowth, dietitian and clinical nutritionist, joined by APD Paul Bailey with a sports nutrition background. The practice leans on formal testing — metabolism, hormones and gut microbiome — to drive individualised nutrition plans, with practice areas spanning metabolic health, sports nutrition, pre- and post-natal nutrition and disordered eating support.
Three accredited practising dietitians — Caitlin Parker (also a credentialled diabetes educator), Christie Lee and Lisa Goldsworthy — consult inside this Albany Highway allied-health clinic, alongside exercise physiology, physiotherapy and podiatry. Open six days with Sunday by appointment.
ESSA-accredited exercise physiologists alongside physiotherapy, pelvic health, podiatry, remedial massage and dietetics in Claremont. Programs span pre- and post-surgical rehab, teen strength, seniors' programs and hydrotherapy, with private, Medicare, DVA, NDIS and WorkCover clients all accepted — no referral needed. Open to 7pm weekdays.
Twenty-five years of physiotherapy from West Perth and Mosman Park, with podiatry and a sports dietitian under the same roof — and a physiotherapist-led bike fitting service using saddle pressure mapping, which is a rarer thing to find in a clinic than in a bike shop.

How nutrition & healthy living is taught in Perth
Two titles, and only one of them means something specific. “Accredited Practising Dietitian” is a credential administered by Dietitians Australia, and it’s the one Medicare care plans and most health funds recognise. “Nutritionist” is not a protected title here — some hold degrees and association membership, some don’t, and the only way to know is to ask.
A first appointment usually runs 45 to 60 minutes and covers what you eat, when, and what your week actually looks like, with shorter reviews after it. Some practitioners work from a GP referral under a chronic disease management plan, which changes what you pay; most also take private bookings without one.
Consultations increasingly run by video, which matters if the practitioner you want is on the wrong side of the river. Ask whether the fee includes the written plan afterwards — practices differ, and it’s the part people assume is free.
