The City of Victoria Park's aquatic centre, open from 5.30am on weekdays. Four pools — an outdoor 50m, an indoor 25m, a leisure pool and a hydrotherapy pool — plus a steam room and spa, a gym, and a group fitness programme that includes aqua classes. Casual adult swim entry is $8.20 and gym or group fitness is $20, which makes it one of the cheapest ways into warm water in Perth's inner south-east.
A City of Canning centre running three distinct aqua classes rather than one generic timetable: Aqua Fit as a cardio and conditioning session for sixteen and over, Aqua Stick using rubber bands on a bar for added resistance, and Revitalise Aqua, a low-impact class the city describes as designed for people over fifty. A second pool runs the same programme at Riverton. Bookings open twenty-two hours before each class.
A Canning Highway gym for people over 50 and nobody else, with classes capped at eight and led by physiotherapists. There is a six-week starting programme, one-to-one sessions, and physiotherapy in the same room.
Strength coaching aimed squarely at middle-aged and older adults, one to one or online, taking people from those finding daily tasks hard to those training around an old injury. Running coaching and gait assessment are offered alongside.
How Oria chooses these senior wellness places
5 of the 7 senior wellness listings in the directory match this view. The count is live, and the order puts specialists first — paid placement never moves anyone up it.
As of October 2026, 5 of the 7 Senior Wellness listings on Oria Haven are in this view (Perth) — counted live from the directory.
1 place here publishes a starting price, from $8 to $8.
1 of these specialise in senior wellness — it is their main focus. The other 4 list it among other things they offer.
Every listing is hand-checked by Oria Haven. Figures updated 8 October 2026.
Most relevant means practices that specialise in this first, then the ones with the most reviews to go on. A listing that publishes its price, describes itself and names its services gets a small nudge, never more than a quarter of a star, because you can decide on it without ringing. Paid placements are shown once, in their own band, and never move anyone up the list.
The guide
Before you go: senior wellness in Perth
Almost everything on this page exists elsewhere in the directory. What makes it a page of its own is who it is run for, and that changes the room more than the activity.
Strength for Life is the one to know: a COTA-endorsed strength and balance programme for people over 50, run by accredited exercise physiologists at sites across the metro, usually needing a GP referral and costing a fraction of a personal trainer. Falls prevention classes are the clinical cousin, run by physiotherapists in groups of three to eight. Chair and gentle yoga do what the names say — no floor work, no getting up and down. The social side is separate again: seniors’ centres, men’s sheds and memory cafés, the last of these designed for people living with dementia and the people who care for them, and open to both together.
On practicalities: ask whether a class needs a GP referral before you turn up, because the subsidised ones usually do. Ask what the group size is — the difference between eight people and twenty-eight is the difference between being watched and being counted. Council-run programmes are typically the cheapest and book by term rather than by session, and many centres run transport.

Senior fitness in Perth — common questions
How many practices offer senior fitness in Perth?
Oria Haven lists 5 practices across 5 suburbs in the Perth metro. Every entry is checked by hand before it goes live, and the list is updated as practices open, move or close.
Can I book senior fitness online in Perth?
Yes — 1 of the 5 practices listed offer online or hybrid sessions. Filter by format above to see only those.
How does Oria Haven choose which practices to list?
We build the directory ourselves rather than taking paid submissions, so a practice appears because it exists and serves Perth — not because it paid. Practices can claim their listing for nothing and keep it accurate, photos included. Paid plans add booking links, offers and visitor stats. We never take a cut of bookings, and enquiries go straight to the practice.
