Running since 2005 under founders with research doctorates and a thoughtful, non-performative approach, this Colin Street studio teaches Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and pregnancy yoga in person and online. The three-week unlimited introduction is a proper way to test whether a regular practice fits your week.

Pick one or several — each number is how many places here offer it.
A Milne Street studio that runs a Mysore room alongside a general timetable, which is less common in Perth than the number of yoga studios would suggest. Ashtanga Led covers the half primary series in seventy-five minutes and the studio asks you to do its Ashtanga Foundations course first. The rest of the week is softer — Mellow, Linger Longer, Dynamic Flow, and Yin by candlelight.
Two rooms on the coast — Railway Street in Cottesloe and a second inside the Swanbourne Surf Club — running more than thirty classes a week between them. The timetable is unusually wide for a studio this size: vinyasa and power vinyasa at one end, hatha flow and slow flow in the middle, and yin restorative, yin and yang, and myofascial release at the other. Sound healing runs as its own session and paired with yin.
Jai Ram teaches pregnancy and postnatal yoga on South Street and very little else — a studio built around one stretch of life rather than a timetable that happens to include a prenatal slot. Courses run in ten-week cycles following school terms, with a six-week intensive inside them, and Mama Baba classes carry on afterwards with the baby in the room.
A Hardy Street studio running barre alongside reformer and matwork, which is less common than it sounds — most Perth barre classes sit in gyms rather than Pilates studios. The studio is explicit that no dance background is expected; its own test is whether you can hold a barre. Yoga and private sessions run on the same timetable.
A Bikram studio south of the river, running the original set sequence in a heated room. The studio makes a point of the practice being for people who do not think of themselves as yoga people — its own words are that you do not need to be fit, or young, or a devotee — and first-timers are given mat and towel hire at no cost. An introductory pass covers twenty-five days of unlimited classes.
The spa inside COMO The Treasury on Cathedral Avenue, open to day visitors as well as hotel guests: four treatment rooms (one a double), a 20-metre heated indoor pool, sauna and a wellness lounge, and a rooftop fitness centre. Massage and holistic treatments with COMO Shambhala's own products, private yoga and pilates, and wellness packages. Open 10am to 6pm every day; bookings through the spa's online portal.
A yoga studio on Stirling Highway, Nedlands, with a wellness spa attached. The spa menu runs signature and pregnancy massage from $145 for the hour, an iKOU facial at $160, iKOU body scrubs and rituals from $140, a 45-minute infrared sauna at $50, and wellness consultations; upstairs the studio teaches vinyasa, yin, prenatal and foundation classes, with private sessions, corporate programs, workshops and retreats. Open seven days around class and appointment times.
Frieda runs yin and vinyasa classes in Claremont and Cottesloe and takes the practice into the bush: yoga hikes — 'yikes' — such as a four-kilometre walk at Bells Rapids followed by a slow-flow class and afternoon tea, and a hike to the Golden View lookout above Mundaring Weir, forty-five minutes east of the city. Longer retreats run in Balingup and overseas. Private one-to-one classes and corporate yoga and pilates round out the calendar.
Mandy Francisty runs day retreats around Perth and weekend retreats further afield — the next in Pemberton — built from slow-flow and restorative yoga, yoga nidra, meditation, breathwork, journaling and a vegan, gluten-free lunch, each day on a different theme. Based in Two Rocks, where there is venue hire, a sauna and ice bath and weekly yoga, she is a yoga and pilates teacher, breathwork practitioner, NLP and EFT therapist and personal trainer, and takes private bookings for hens, birthdays and teams.
Council-run centres for residents over 55, with keep-fit classes, yoga, tai chi, chess, bridge and bingo, plus visiting podiatry and hairdressing and shopping excursions. Term-based rather than casual.

How Oria chooses these yoga places
Oria Haven lists 47 wellness practices under Yoga in Perth, across 34 suburbs. The largest clusters are in Fremantle (5), South Perth (3) and Perth CBD (3). 16 publish a starting price, running from $21 to $1,495 with a median of $45. 41 publish a price band, and the most common is $25–60 (27 of them). Four offer online or hybrid sessions.
16 places here publish a starting price, from $21 to $1,495. The median is $45.
28 of these specialise in yoga — it is their main focus. The other 19 list it among other things they offer.
Every listing is hand-checked by Oria Haven. Figures updated 10 October 2026.
Most relevant means practices that specialise in this first, then the ones with the most reviews to go on. A listing that publishes its price, describes itself and names its services gets a small nudge, never more than a quarter of a star, because you can decide on it without ringing. Paid placements are shown once, in their own band, and never move anyone up the list.

The guide
Before you go: yoga in Perth
The style name on the timetable tells you more about the next hour than any photo on the studio’s website.
Vinyasa moves continuously and warms you up; hatha holds postures longer and talks you through them; yin puts you on the floor with props for minutes at a time; restorative and nidra classes barely move at all. Hot classes run in a heated room, which changes what you bring rather than what you do. Studios that run a dedicated beginners’ course — four to six weeks, same people each week — are worth finding if the drop-in timetable looks impenetrable.
On practicalities: most studios lend mats, intro offers for new students are close to universal and usually the cheapest way to try three or four rooms, and class passes only beat casual rates if you actually go. Pregnancy classes are booked separately and most teachers ask which trimester you’re in.
Related: yoga, pilates, barre, fitness and movement, meditation classes.
Your first visit
What to expect at your first yoga session
A general yoga class expects nothing from you except that you are there. Nobody is looking at you; they are all busy.
- Session length 60–75 min
- Group size 8–25
- Experience needed None — beginner classes are common
- What it costs See published prices
From arrival to heading home
-
Before your visit
- Ten minutes early for a first class — enough to sign in, find the mats and props, and tell the teacher it is your first time.
- Anything you can move and bend in. Bare feet. Leggings or shorts that stay put when you tip upside down.
-
During the session
- Tell the teacher at the door that it is your first class. They will keep half an eye on you and offer easier options as they go.
- Shoes off outside the room. It is usually quiet before class starts — people lie down and wait.
- The class moves through standing and floor postures, with the teacher naming each one and demonstrating.
- You can stop at any time. Sitting down for a round, or resting on your knees, is ordinary and nobody comments.
- It ends lying still for a few minutes with the lights down.
A little preparation
-
What to bring Water. Studios lend mats, blocks and straps, though a hire fee is common, so ask when you book.
This describes what these sessions are generally like, not any one venue on this page. Facilities and policies vary, so check anything that matters to you with the venue before you book.

Sources & how we calculated these figures
- Checked 7 October 2026, from prices and timetables published by 46 Perth yoga studios and teachers on their own websites and booking pages, or the booking pages they link to.
- Casual is a standard adult drop-in class.
- Out-of-date and holiday-only rates are left out.
- Sunday classes count only where the timetable shows a yoga class.
- Where a venue doesn't say something (hours, showers, privacy), it is counted as not stated -- never as no.
- Prices and inclusions change. Check the venue's own site before you book.
- Each figure says how many venues it comes from; different facts can rest on different numbers of venues. Venue names link to their Oria Haven listings, which link to the venue’s own site.

Questions people ask about yoga in Perth
How many practices offer yoga in Perth?
Oria Haven lists 47 practices across 34 suburbs in the Perth metro. Every entry is checked by hand before it goes live, and the list is updated as practices open, move or close.
Where in Perth can I find yoga?
47 practices across 34 suburbs. The most choice is in Fremantle (5), South Perth (3) and Perth CBD (3) — use the area filter on this page to narrow it to the side of town you can actually get to.
What does it cost to book yoga in Perth?
Of the 16 practices here that publish a starting price, sessions begin from $21, with a typical starting price around $45. Prices come from the practices themselves and change without notice — confirm before you book.
Can I book yoga online in Perth?
Yes — 4 of the 47 practices listed offer online or hybrid sessions. Filter by format above to see only those.
How does Oria Haven choose which practices to list?
We build the directory ourselves rather than taking paid submissions, so a practice appears because it exists and serves Perth — not because it paid. Practices can claim their listing for nothing and keep it accurate, photos included. Paid plans add booking links, offers and visitor stats. We never take a cut of bookings, and enquiries go straight to the practice.
