A small studio within the Sanctuary Wellness Collective on Wood Street, Fremantle, founded by Amy and run as a collective of women practitioners. The published programme includes a fortnightly Monday meditation and sound bath from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, a weekly Thursday evening stretch class, and monthly sound bath and yoga events. Mandy Francisty runs day retreats around Perth and weekend retreats further afield — the next in Pemberton — built from slow-flow and restorative yoga, yoga nidra, meditation, breathwork, journaling and a vegan, gluten-free lunch, each day on a different theme. Based in Two Rocks, where there is venue hire, a sauna and ice bath and weekly yoga, she is a yoga and pilates teacher, breathwork practitioner, NLP and EFT therapist and personal trainer, and takes private bookings for hens, birthdays and teams.
Richard and Helena Boyd have run Energetics Institute from a Federation home in Inglewood for more than twenty years. Breathwork sits alongside their somatic psychotherapy practice — private sessions in the rooms or online, and group breathwork sessions that fold in sound. Both are professional members of the Australian Breathwork Association. Open weekdays to 7pm and Saturday mornings.
Mark Simpson works from Princess Road in Doubleview and over Zoom, with group breathwork most Tuesday evenings and some weekend afternoons, two-hour one-to-one journeys, and a shorter hour-long introductory session. His training is a year-long course recognised by the Australian Breathwork Association; he is also an 800-hour yoga teacher and a Reiki master, and runs programs for organisations. Prices are on the site: $80 for the hour, $160 for a two-hour private session.
Life in Flow is the breathwork arm of Breathe Counselling, a Perth counselling practice with rooms across the city. Joanna Gwynn, the practice's co-director and an internationally accredited breathwork practitioner with trauma-informed and somatic training, runs individual sessions in person and online and small group sessions, offered at the Perth, Rockingham and Mandurah clinics. The sessions are built as a series of five, each with a different focus, and are gentle enough for children.

5 places here publish a starting price, from $29 to $1,495. The median is $79.
14 of these specialise in breathwork — it is their main focus. The other 9 list it among other things they offer.
Every listing is hand-checked by Oria Haven. Figures updated 8 October 2026.
Most relevant means practices that specialise in this first, then the ones with the most reviews to go on. A listing that publishes its price, describes itself and names its services gets a small nudge, never more than a quarter of a star, because you can decide on it without ringing. Paid placements are shown once, in their own band, and never move anyone up the list.

The guide
Before you go: breathwork in Perth
Breathwork in Perth covers two rooms that share a name and almost nothing else.
The first is long-form conscious connected breathing — you lie down for an hour or more, breathe in a continuous circular pattern to music, and a facilitator works the room. Sessions run in studios and hired halls, usually evenings and weekends, sometimes with a sound component. 9D breathwork is this format with a layered audio track; somatic and shamanic sessions are variations on the same idea. They are intense by design — crying, shaking and tingling hands come up often enough that facilitators name them at the start — and everyone screens beforehand for a short list of conditions, pregnancy and cardiovascular history usually among them. Expect a form, and answer it honestly.
The second is short, seated and functional: nasal breathing, slower exhales, breath holds, often paired with cold exposure or an ice bath. These run 30 to 60 minutes and turn up inside gyms, recovery studios and yoga timetables as much as in dedicated breathwork spaces.
Several of the people listed here are independent facilitators rather than fixed venues, so check the listing for where a given class actually runs. Neither style needs prior experience, and both are usually cheaper booked as a course than as a single class. Our guide to breathwork styles explains which room you’re walking into. Related: meditation, yoga and movement.

Your first visit
What to expect at your first breathwork session
You lie down and breathe in a pattern a facilitator sets, usually to music, for an hour or so. It is more physical than it sounds.
- Session length 60–90 min
- Group size 6–30
- Experience needed None — facilitators screen beforehand
- What it costs See published prices
From arrival to heading home
-
Before your visit
- Ten minutes early. Facilitators generally ask about heart conditions, pregnancy, epilepsy and recent surgery before starting, so allow time for that conversation.
- Loose, warm, comfortable clothes. You will be lying still afterwards and body temperature drops.
-
During the session
- A screening conversation first. Be straightforward about health conditions and medication; it changes what a facilitator will ask of you.
- Everyone lies down with a blanket. Lights low, music on.
- The facilitator guides the pace of breathing and keeps talking through it.
- Tingling in the hands and face, and sometimes cramping in the fingers, is common with sustained fast breathing. Facilitators name this beforehand so it does not alarm you.
- A long quiet period at the end, and often a chance to talk afterwards if you want to.
A little preparation
-
What to bring Water, and a blanket or eye mask if you have them — most places provide both.
This describes what these sessions are generally like, not any one venue on this page. Facilities and policies vary, so check anything that matters to you with the venue before you book.

Sources & how we calculated these figures
- Checked 7 October 2026, from prices published by 23 Perth breathwork providers on their own websites and the booking pages they link to, or the booking pages they link to.
- Group price is one regular group session; workshops and retreats are counted separately.
- Ticket totals that appear to include a booking fee, and prices assumed from other services, are left out.
- Typical means the median.
- Where a venue doesn't say something (hours, showers, privacy), it is counted as not stated -- never as no.
- Prices and inclusions change. Check the venue's own site before you book.
- Each figure says how many venues it comes from; different facts can rest on different numbers of venues. Venue names link to their Oria Haven listings, which link to the venue’s own site.

How does Oria Haven choose which practices to list?
We build the directory ourselves rather than taking paid submissions, so a practice appears because it exists and serves Perth — not because it paid. Practices can claim their listing for nothing and keep it accurate, photos included. Paid plans add booking links, offers and visitor stats. We never take a cut of bookings, and enquiries go straight to the practice.
